Hello house....
Compliment of the season to you all.

Urgent pls

An agent is asking for 600k for 2yrs visa with work permit and she said it will take abt 8 week to process. Pls is the money too much or too good to be true. Though some guys claims they know the agent that she is trust worthy.

The initial payment of 180k.... The rest to be paid when the visa is out.

Pls is this feasible?

And how much is two year visa? For those that have gone tru this way before pls kindly respond to me

Thanks one.... Thanks all.

Agent of the devil.

This won't work, it has to be sent from the registered email address of the school.

Verification can also be sent via courier. This is even more reliable since you can track when wes receives it. @bskyb.

Lol at shine your eye. Sorry for my "silly" question but this is notary public abi cos someone just said something about affidavit. My guess is cic only accepts notary...i may be wrong.

Check page one for list of notary publics. Pick those ones in your area. Search Google for their websites. Call them using phone number on their website to see if you can get prices over phone so you make a choice of which to use.

For the emboldened, check page one for link to people who got ppr and what they did... Check out those who used gift deeds to see how exactly they packaged theirs.

There's a recent trend - especially with June and July aor - where the application is transferred to CIO after it's been approved by OVO.
On CanadaVisa forum, I've read of cases where people proactively emailed their LVO and triggered the PPR mail. The first guy emailed NDVO asking about the status of his application, he got PPR in a couple of hours.
The second guy emailed the LVO in Brazil telling them to that he thinks he may have mistakenly deleted the PPR mail cheesy they sent him PPR the next day.
So if you know that your application has been approved and gathering dust in CIO, try sending a mail to AVO. It might work ....or not.
There's no harm in trying

Lol wow..anything to force their hand jare

Visit Canada.ca and check the types of available visas... Do some Google research as well to find out if Nigerians are eligible for work permits in Canada. Then again, confirm that you cannot apply for such a visa by yourself rather than using an agent. Finally, visit page one of this thread to see if any information there interests you.

I assume your question is about Canada.

Hello beautiful people. I am going to use this space as my entry into this application process and later, a space for my testimony.

I used the CRS tool found on the official Canadian immigration website to evaluate my profile. Upon the completion of the evaluation, I was invited to apply using a generated code. However, I used a dummy IELTS score. My question is can I still go ahead and create a profile, or should I just write the IELTS in one or two weeks time and then create my profile using my official score?

Second, I should be done with my Master's degree program in the US by Spring or Summer (perfect GPA). Should I wait till then and get my official transcript evaluated before starting this journey?

Another challenge I have is that my Master's program is a bit specialized because I work and take classes in a national research center. The skills I have acquired so far in the US makes me an expert in a field that is different from my previous 1-year full-time NYSC job experience.

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. Please don't read and pass.

Thank you for your time.

Visit page one of this thread. I think you'll find some useful information there.

Actually it's not only two people. The trend is now very clear especially with NDVO. If you have an approved file and you send them a mail, PPR will arrive within 48 hours. At least for June AORS sha.

Both affidavit (the 2k option being mentioned) and notary public (30-40k) are accepted.

Notarising my deed (at a law firm) cost either 5 or 10k. Can't remember exact figure again. I think twas 5k sha.

Thanks Tojued. Done as advised.

Send mails to Accra, Ottawa and New Delhi VO. Inform that tour file has been approved etc and you would like to reconfirm the status of your application and when you should expect the passport request mail.

No venture no gain.

Thanks. My status has been on IP2 since my AOR date.

Congratulations Sir! U ll soon receive that email!!! Please did you observe your IP2 to IP1 and subsequently to IP2 dates? Or does your status update still show IP1?

I'm actually surprised with the 30k-40k been quoted. I prepared my gift deed myself and got it notarised by a notary public for about 2k in Lagos (TBS complex to be precise).

As you earlier opined, I got the contact from the list of notary publics on Page 1.

NDVO seems to be very efficient. Who knows if that method will work with AVO but like you said, nothing ventured, nothing gained.
I thought of you when I read it though, hope PPR comes soon

Glory be to God. After several years of struggle, ITA finally arrived last week. I just learnt, although not too new, that persistence always yield positive result. Don't give up....if you do, then it's automatic acceptance of failure.

We are confronted with the second hurdle, which is the medical. I'm just told there are just 2 medical laboratories in Lagos: Qlife and IOM. Qlife is booked till March whereas I have just upto 18 Feb to submit my application. IOM fees double that of Qlife but I don't mind to pay, I pray I get a slot.

I was told at Qlife that people book ahead even though they've not gotten the ITA. I am therefore begging the house, if you have booked ahead and you are ready to help a friend, kindly give me your slot and rebook. IOM charges are exorbitant and considering that there are still so much expenses involved in this struggle, your kind gesture will be highly appreciated.

Finally, I want to thank you all for your advic and help from different angles that make the struggle fruitful. Don't give up and your own ITA will land very soon.

Thank you!

It should vary based on the notary him/herself, location and negotiating ability. I used that figure because she quoted it earlier.

Gift deed by Notary public can cost that much.

The alternative is affidavit (commissioner of oaths) at your local magistrate/high court. That's the cheap one.

Nope. I did my gift deed at notary public for 2k as well. it's not expensive. I'm in Benin.

No.
But if you do choose to do it, you upload it together with your passport datapage in a pdf. Only make sure you make your current passport datapage as page 1. An easy way to go get rejection is to upload stamped pages and forget to put the mandatory part which is datapage.
