Nope. I did my gift deed at notary public for 2k as well. it's not expensive. I'm in Benin.

joo2018:
It should vary based on the notary him/herself, location and negotiating ability. I used that figure because she quoted it earlier.

You will be surprised how some people can quote funny price to charge you.

Good Afternoon, please I need more clarification on this

My Educational qualification is B.sc Botany and I work as a Teacher.

I would like to know if I can apply for Canada Federal Skilled Workers Program and PNP as a Teacher without an Education certificate.

Thanks in anticipation.

No, don't create a profile until you have everything in place. And when you're ready, don't use this generated code. Discard this one and start afresh. Next time, if you want to simulate your CRS scores, use this site/tool;
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

The decision to wait for your Masters or not depends on your current CRS scores. If your present score is high enough to get ITA, then start the process immediately. If not, then wait for - and access - your Masters.

The job issue is not a problem. People have successfully combined NOCs and got their PR.

Most importantly, go and make page 1 of this thread your home

Thank you for taking out time to respond. By factoring my Master's degree, my CRS is 502 but by using just my bachelor's degree, my CRS is 482. Is 482 high enough to proceed with the application process?
Page 1 of the thread is quite loaded and I am taking it in.

No.
But if you do choose to do it, you upload it together with your passport datapage in a pdf. Only make sure you make your current passport datapage as page 1. An easy way to go get rejection is to upload stamped pages and forget to put the mandatory part which is datapage.

I believe your application is still under processing, so yes, you are required to (see here) and here.

However, I think it can only affect your application if it was a Canada based LMIA job offer, under a closed work permit, or you are applying under PNP where you got nomination based on an NOC on demand.

Are you not changing jobs? If you are changing jobs, you can wait until you resume the new job and raise a CSE on change of job.

Yes, I did. The only assumption I made was in the IELTS section where I selected the highest band score in each sub-section grin.

Firstly you need to sit for ielts and use the official score to fill your EE profile.

Secondly I would advice you to finish your master program first, get it evaluated before you fill the EE . Reason is that it will give u a higher score in the pool than using your first degree alone.

Hello beautiful people. I am going to use this space as my entry into this application process and later, a space for my testimony.

I used the CRS tool found on the official Canadian immigration website to evaluate my profile. Upon the completion of the evaluation, I was invited to apply using a generated code. However, I used a dummy IELTS score. My question is can I still go ahead and create a profile, or should I just write the IELTS in one or two weeks time and then create my profile using my official score?

Second, I should be done with my Master's degree program in the US by Spring or Summer (perfect GPA). Should I wait till then and get my official transcript evaluated before starting this journey?

Another challenge I have is that my Master's program is a bit specialized because I work and take classes in a national research center. The skills I have acquired so far in the US makes me an expert in a field that is different from my previous 1-year full-time NYSC job experience.

Your suggestions are greatly appreciated. Please don't read and pass.

Thank you for your time.

Glory be to God. After several years of struggle, ITA finally arrived last week. I just learnt, although not too new, that persistence always yield positive result. Don't give up....if you do, then it's automatic acceptance of failure.

We are confronted with the second hurdle, which is the medical. I'm just told there are just 2 medical laboratories in Lagos: Qlife and IOM. Qlife is booked till March whereas I have just upto 18 Feb to submit my application. IOM fees double that of Qlife but I don't mind to pay, I pray I get a slot.

I was told at Qlife that people book ahead even though they've not gotten the ITA. I am therefore begging the house, if you have booked ahead and you are ready to help a friend, kindly give me your slot and rebook. IOM charges are exorbitant and considering that there are still so much expenses involved in this struggle, your kind gesture will be highly appreciated.

Finally, I want to thank you all for your advic and help from different angles that make the struggle fruitful. Don't give up and your own ITA will land very soon.

Thank you!

You do not need medicals to submit your application. Medicals will be requested from you once you pass the initial stages (AOR I think). Front-loading medicals just speeds up the process but is not entirely important at this time. Cheers.

EDIT: I'm wrong. You do have to have medicals at the point of submission.

Only upfront medicals allowed now: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/documents/medical-exams.html

Do you have Canadian experience or education? Did
you write TEF? IF No to the above, there's no way you'll get up to 480 with just Bsc..

Recalculate, make sure you don't select you have Canadian experience except you hv shaa..
