I doubt you will find the product in the market these days.
Just try Zinox. I have a feeling it will last long. You could check the product reviews via Google.

Schneider Homaya 1500va 24v Solar Hybrid inverter System.

Price: N79,000 N75,000

Quick Overview
Proven value for off-grid, backup power and self-consumption

ConextTM SW is perfect for off-grid, backup power and self-consumption applications, it is a pure sine wave, hybrid inverter system with switchable 50/60 Hz frequencies, providing power for every need. For expanded off-grid capacity, the Conext SW is integrated with fuel-based generators as required to support loads larger than the generator’s output.

It’s also self consumption ready, able to prioritize solar consumption over the grid, while maintaining zero grid export. The Conext SW works with the grid to avoid peak utility charges and support the grid when utility supply is limited. Accessories include pre-wired universal DC distribution panel and AC distribution panels. Stacking two Conext SW units will double the system’s total output power and available solar charge controllers allow for the integration of solar capacity as required.

Good Day everyone, complement of the season. The questions I am about to ask is meant for Kiekie, Brightsolar,Carolyn and any other person knowledgeable in the this area.

I have a battery bank of 280AH and a load of 130watt which I want to power for 24hrs.Please I am begging,if I want to go solar, how many watts panels would I go for and the size of charge controller.

Thanks in anticipation.

You cannot run 130watt load on 280ah battery for 24hrs

Thanks for the response. I was thinking I could get mppt charge controller of about 50AH and solar panels of 1,000watts or above, with these I could be charging my batteries and at the same time be using my appliances from 8am in the morning till around 5pm when the sun will set.

By 5.pm my batteries should be fully charged and that I'll serve me till the next day before the sun will rise for another charging.

I am sorry for bothering you, what will be the ideal battery bank for my load?
I hope my plan of 50Ah charge controller and 1,000watt solar panels is in place.

Hello, sorry I have been away/offline ! Its easier tackled with detailed info .. Pls is your proposed system a 12vdc or 24vdc design ? If your design is a 24v 280a , you can power a 130w load above 24hrs ! If its 12v 280a, I wouldn't advice running 130w load 24hrs on such due to battery health .. My mobile number is in my signature/profile for prospective clients to freely reach me ! Cheer's

Yes oo, let them continue to do their advert. I have turned their nuisances adverts for my good. Whenever i want to buy any product, i normally come here and see their prices so that when i get to the market, i will know how to bargain and buy it cheaper than their prices here.

many of them don't have the products, they go to the main sellers in the market to collect and sell because of their efforts in advertising, they have to make gain to, don't blame them

but still expensive buying from them

Let as many people that enjoy this thread and want it to continue to serve same purpose as before click on the report button below every unwarranted advert hugging up all the space and let not make this space comfortable for them.

They have shown without leaving anyone guessing the fact that they are not gentlemen. Pls bring in your questions, contribution and comments and let's kick this page back to life again.....regards!

You can isolate the old one and get it a small inverter and use it for small load like light bulb or Clipper

see as online marketers nearly killed this beautiful thread with their over inflated (ọsọ ahịa) prices. i discovered my 3000w rubitec inverter have a self consumption of about 70 to 110w. so i have decided to try something new this year, since my normal load doesn't surpass 100w. i av bought a bluegate 1200VA Ups and a 12V 30amps charger. i already have 2pcs 200ah batteries and 4pcs 200w solar panel and a 30amps mppt charger controller. (thanks ceejay80s for the help in acquiring the bluegate) i will see how it goes...i want encourage some people who wish to add solar that this is the right time, u can get a very good brand new 200w mono solar panel(like mine) for as low as 30k, and a solar controller for cheaper prices. i can drop the contact if needed. as for other items the prices ranges as follows *subject to location and market forces*
bluegate 650va ups 12v = 2k to 4k
bluegate 1200VA ups 12V= 5k to 8k
30amps 12v smart charger= 11k to 15k
200amps fairly used battery(depending on product, grade and extent of use)=35k to 60k

but i suggest a brand new 200ah battery, u can get a very good product as low as 85k.. shylock online marketers stay away!!! tongue
