That nation's military sucks big time, it's more than obvious that it has become majorly compromised. BH has without a doubt infiltrated and embedded itself within the organization. They need to call for a more competent force to come and take care of BH for them.

Believe it or not.....boko haram is winning this insurgency, they have the initiative....we have no queen on the chessboard, and we are still loosing puns to them.....we need a master stroke, to change the hands of the game......how many tanks in total and arty pieces do we have in the whole nigeria that is functional and how many have been lost in the N.E, how many then remains? How many rpgs do we have? Some officers have never in their lives held one........this battlefront annoys the hell out of me, red necks and politicians do not seem to be bothered, till their doors are broken open, by the soldiers themselves that protect them in the wee hours of the night.

I remember when i made this statement, people were insulting........i am in this military and i have been in the N. E BH has the initiative at the fringes, i am trained higher than the regular Infrantry, and i have paid my dues......what we need is a major offensive , that will push at least 30 kilo into our neighbours territory, i am a navy type and already hearing news about my brothers in Baga........lets beat this maddness into submission and make them respect us, and let them know there will be consequences for each out post attacked........

This idea of feeding our men and weapons piece by piece to this beasts is outrageous. These men and material lost over the past 60 days is enough to launch a MASSIVE and MAJOR military offensive against their strongholds and kick their asses to kingdom come. Its like we have become their armoury.
The attrition rate is mind boggling

Hours apart, terrorists attacked MNJTF HQ, Cross Kauwa, in northern Borno & the military base in Goniri village of Gujba LGA of Yobe State. Both were daring attacks reminiscent of the status quo before 2015. We stand with our soldiers & pray they emerge victorious.

"Boko Haram reportedly takes control of Baga after attack on military base." -l

In the heat of all; no one has resigned; no one has been fired. The only constant is the persistent onslaught on military locations ... embarassed undecided

NIGERIAN SOLDIERS ARE NOT COWARDS. The cowards have deserted the front & gone AWOL. To stay back & take the heat, the odds notwithstanding, takes exceptional courage from our troops at the frontlines. They always complain of inadequate arms and. Shouldn't that be considered?

I really don’t want to believe that a whole Baga the HQ of MNJTF with troops from Nigeria, Niger and chad deployed is in the hands of Boko boys.

Sadly we have become the armoury......we are fighting bh, with the same weapons , but they attack with overwhelming numbers.

And some REMFs in their AC offices will be jumping upandan, screaming court martial when peoples children and parents have to fall back from an area when they run out of ammo without backup.
For bleeps sake even the dumb know that Baga is Directly on the frontier of this fight. This is a prime location where ATTACKs against bokos should emanate from and should be overflowing with Men, Ammunition and ISR assets. Take the battle to the FUC-ERs.

If mnjtf consisting of Nigeria, Chad and Niger, can be overuned, then I believe this war isn't ending soon.

Now do we call this incompetence ,cowardice or lack of ammunition.
Had it been it was a Nigerian base, we could have screamed politics bullshits,

I believe this war is way more than what we read on the tabloids and online.

My own be say, make dem kuku hold them for northeast there. We can't risk been a flexing, warheads and ammunition testing zones for world power nations of this war should escalate to other parts of the country .

Highly likely the NAF base, that is their ultimate target.

Well, there will soon be an army press briefing on the matter.

But from what we hear, if a base comprising the MNJTF was seized along with the adjoining SBS holdfast, then the next few months will really be tough. Those ISWAP guys are not idiots, they know that the military will soon come and dislodge them from that place due to how strategically important it is, they probably have no plan for holding on to the place for long. The goal is to cannibalize the armoury and ship away the weapons before the army comes knocking.

The army will probably come back to recapture the base easily, only a skeletal number of fighters will remain there to keep up the charade of battle.

UPDATE ON BOKO HARAM TERRORISTS ATTACK ON HEADQUARTERS 7 BRIGADE MNJTF BAGA
Please recall that yesterday, Wednesday 26th December 2018 suspected Boko Haram terrorists attacked the headquarters of 7 Brigade Multinational Joint Task Force (MNJTF), Baga, Borno State, at about 7.00pm. The troops along with their Nigerian Navy counterparts put up a very determined fight to repel the attack throughout the night, while Sector 3 Operation LAFIYA DOLE sent in reinforcement who are in hot pursuit of the terrorists. Similarly, a Search and Rescue team has been constituted.

The Nigerian Air Force component has also been mobilised and are engaging the fleeing terrorists. Unfortunately, a naval personnel was killed in action. So far, no further details of casualties yet as efforts are on going to clear the terrorists hiding in Baga and environs.

We enjoin all to remain calm as the troops conduct clearance and mop up operations. We implore members of the general public to disregard any contrary information circulating on the attack. We will keep you posted with development on the pursuit and mop up operations.

You are please requested to disseminate this information to the public through your medium.

Thank you for your kind cooperation.

I am not sure anyone wants to start bombing a military base. Except we want to institute a policy whereby we rather destroy our equipments rather than allow them fall into the hands of such miscreants.
