Shallow minds.

You all think people leave Nigeria for financial reasons.

I pray all you team #500k do not fall seriously sick in Nigeria and require dialysis, radiotherapy or chemo. We will see how far 500k will go towards your treatment plus your other bills

Spot on, l have friends who left oil company jobs in Nigeria earning between 500,000 naira to 1.5 million Naira per month , they relocated from the headquarters of poverty due to the uncertainty in the country, health, security etc were part of the reasons they vammoosed out of Nigeria, life is not about money, salary etc but some people just want a decent lifestyle for themselves and kids which the headquarters of poverty cannot guarantee shocked

So I finally decided to activate my Canadian Permanent Residency and move to Canada. I will be sharing my journey here, particularly how I find the transition and settle. Some key points to note:

1. No personal questions please. I will try to answer as many questions as I can

2. You are required to have a specific sum (POF) (depending on your family size) to migrate to Canada under the Express Entry programme. However, I am not willing to spend my precious savings, so I will be limiting my drawing from my savings to $2,000 CAD, aside ticket costs and the one week Airbnb stay I have already paid for. All other expenses will be from money earned in Canada... so lets see how that goes.

3. I believe in the dignity of labour, so watch out for the legal stuff I will do to make an enjoyable living.
What do I need? How much do I need to have? What's your age range (not personal...range).

I will make this quick, I have seen people resign a millolion naira per month job and relocate to canada.

I know not less than 5 people earning more than 500k resign and relocate to Canada, you need to understand that its when you are broke money looks like the answer to all problems.

When you have money it dawns on you that money is not the answer to all problems.

500k monthly is 6 million annually, which is about $18k. Great!

But travelling abroad will not only give you more but you'll be in sane environment and you won't be bothered about the future of your kids.

However, having a profitable business alongside the 500k job remain the best alternative but again the economic environment of Nigeria can be frustrating.
6m in naija spent here has more value than 18k dollars (same amount) spent in jand.

You should know this Tonye.

So what are they going there to do?
They relocate 1 for the future of their kids, 2. they can actually get better paying jobs after sometime 3. Apparently healthcare, better living condition, better life.

Nigeria is a zo*o so I wonder no matter how much you can earn in a zo*o its still a zo*o
