One of the sweetest and fun memories of traveling adventures and experience is the one you have with a company. Sis met some Nigerian families who came from Nigeria to Johannesburg for Christmas holiday. They all lodged in the same hotel. Sis bonded so well with one of the ladies. She found a perfect company for her city tour.
According to sis, Johannesburg is more beautiful, well organized and environmentally reserved than Abuja. I totally agree with her on that.
So sis and her new friend went out on a mini city tour. They visited Soweto, an urban settlement in Johannesburg. They visited the Nelson Mandela National Museum, commonly referred to as Mandela House in Soweto.
Personally, I admire how South Africans are able to preserve their heritage, beautiful artifacts and treasures in their museum, which has been able to attract millions of tourists to that destination

Mr Bamanger, can you please ask your sister her perspective about Ethiopia as per migrating there,if it's a place to relocate to and venture into business than staying back here in naija.

You need to bring those pictures down or cover your sister friend's face too. It is not fair to cover your sister face and expose an innocent woman. If you had not covered your sister face, it would have been okay.

Follow me on Instagram to see more photos and videos @ozorchristian

Few minutes later I got some photos and videos of sis inside a cab . "Where to?" I asked. She said she's headed to their local market for explore, sightseeing and some shopping.
.
Few minutes later sis dropped some videos and photos of her at a local shop. Sis said her cab driver passed by Addis Ababa university and American embassy on her way back from the local store. The driver asked her to stop recording when they got to the American embassy. As usual, no external cameras/recordings in most embassies and high commission. Ethiopian people are very friendly and reserved, unlike we Nigerians that are bit loud. .
.
Watch the video of her mini tour of Addis

I have been watching the video. . .

The statue at sidist kilo is call 'sematat hawelt'
which means 'Matrys statue'

That statue was made at the time of Empeor Haileselassie to remember those who died fighting the Italy fascist. At Ethiopian national patriots day, that place is going to be filled with ceremony. The statue is one of the figure which explains Addis Ababa.

And also there is Christmas in Ethiopia. We celebrate it on January 7, it isn't that we don't have a break for this holiday. The driver doesn't seem English speaker that is why. . . .

Tell that to your sis. But I bet she had more days in Addis, there are millions of things she haven't enjoyed here

Interesting places

Red terror museum- one of the biggest tourist attraction which is constructed to remember those who died with the hands of the Dictator Mengistu Hailemariam. I have been there, it's a great place but little scary

Climb Entoto mountain- Addis Ababa was chosen as the capital by Emperor Menelik II because the city is at the center of Ethiopia and it's a mountain. Any enemy who want to conquer is easily seen. Entoto is the highest mountain in Addis Ababa. . . Climb it then you will view the whole city from top. It's amazing!! I have done that 4 times actually

Visit the Museum in Entoto- The museum in Entoto where the weapons used in the Battle of Adwa is displayed. The battle of Adwa is the Battle when Ethiopia defeated Italy not to get colonized. Also, the gold clothes and golden pillow of the Ethiopian defeating emperor is displayed

Addis Ababa university- Addis Ababa university is not only university but also a museum. Properties of Emperor Haile Selassie is displayed because the university was the palace of the emperor

Fun places

There is 7 dimensional movie you can enjoy in Edna mall but the 3 dimensional movie is seen high quality in century mall

Enter Gast entertainment for fun games. I will try to take pics next time I get there. Century mall and Edna mall are the best so far. But Fast is very unique with huge play station rooms and games that aren't usually played any where

etc. . . .

Although it depends on what type of business you want to be involved in, Ethiopia is just a country which has many thing untouched.

Call it in Agriculture and business, the country has huge potential. Making businesses in Ethiopia is very good for foreigners. Electricity is cheap and the country is rich in human labour. These two factors are what investors are mainly concerned in and it seems easy for them to have it here. Many foreign investors are now flowing here.

But there is one thing that makes it different in Ethiopia. At least 51% of your company is shared by an Ethiopian. Foreigners can't fully own a company in Ethiopia.

I can't mention all beacuse it's too much

You can go to Northern Ethiopia and see the Axum stalaes made by ancient Ethiopians at the time of Axumite Kingdom. That is one of the biggest kingdom in Africa

You can go Lalibela and view an underground church curved out of a mountain in 14th century. The secrets of the church are still not reviled. The constructor says God ordered him to build it. Many documentaries has been made on that but still it is a miracle on how it was carved perfect.

You can go to Afar and see the dalol depression. One of the lowest places in the world located below sea level

You can go to Harar and see the Jagol Gimb. You can also see the people of harrar feed hyenas as pets

You can go to Arba Minch and visit the naturally beautiful things

From east, west, north and south. . . many things to enjoy
