The men of Nigerian police force has finally resolved to arrest Senator Dino Melaye at his residence in Abuja and possibly parade him along other criminals at Lokoja. EBONYI DAILY NEWS understand.

EBONYIDAILYNEWS Recall that police vowed to arrest Dino on sunday in a statement by its Force Public Relations Officer Jimoh Moshood

The security operatives, who have laid siege in the senator’s house for three days, said he is wanted for a case of criminal conspiracy and attempted culpable homicide committed on July 19, 2018.

Moshood alleged that Senator Melaye and “his armed thugs” attacked police personnel and shot and wounded one Sgt. Danjuma Saliu, who was attached to 37 Mobile Force (PMF) on stop and search duty along Aiyetoro Gbede, Mopa Road in Kogi State.

“The Police operatives with a duly obtained Warrant of Arrest deployed to arrest Senator Dino Melaye in his residence in Abuja will not retreat until Senator Dino Melaye surrenders himself for arrest and investigation,” Moshood said.

A team of policemen had stormed Senator Melaye’s Abuja residence on Friday to arrest him, but Melaye told reporters that he was not at home and will report to the police this week.

No one has ever engaged the government in a fight and win. The chest beating dilector of ipob the other was making noise all about the country, after a little experience of phyton dance he ran into hiding for a long time, till today he refused to tell his foolish followers what happened. When Dino was getting all the hail and attention from the same Igbos that could not protect their own dilector he was acting hero with his useless songs and mumu dance not knowing that the police have set a trap for him. All that Dino will get is public outcry but i see a long prosecution that will excuse him from the coming election and a jail term that will keep him out of the public till Buhari finish his second term in 2023
