This project was 90 percent completed by the time Buhari took office. It was conceived by the PDP in 2007 to check the threat of flooding from Lake Nyos along the Cameroon line of volcanic activity. N103.2 billion was spent before Buhari came in. He spent N1.6 billion on it in 2016. The project still needs about N50 billion to be completed. The Fiscal Responsibility Commission released a report on this dam in November. You guys should not believe every tweet.

How many times would you Apc Zombies keep trying this propaganda, about 2 or 3months back this same story n lies was on nairaland,I personally commented on it n pointed out how this dam has been in existence long before buhari n the process of adding a hydroelectric power component to it started before buhari came to power infact the then minister for water resources Mrs ochepe once spoke about this very dam project at a conference in Europe, anyone can find out from kashimbila inhabitants in taraba state if truly this dam was started n completed by buhari, this idea n tendency to always alter history n claim undue credits for himself while denigrating other person's character n achievements is why I can never be a buhari fan, imagine buhari claiming that he built all of nigeria's refineries n pipelines during his tenure as petroleum minister in the 70s,he stated this shamelessly during his first n only media chat,but I know the Zombies without cross checking will automatically jump to praise singing for their demigod.
