have been baffle with this thought of this question after being asked by a friend when talking about forgive and forget "if God forgives does He forget". please back up your answer with scriptural reference. Happy new year

God can forgive and forget sins, however man has to face the consequences thereof, that's why obedience is better than sacrifice. All the laws of God are for our benefit

What are you saying?..Then why is a woman still travailing in birth?, all the consequences of Adams sin we still bear even after Christ has set us free. This earth has its own law, break any of it and face the consequence. As a man, if you sleep around you can contact HIV, even if you are forgiven you will face the consequence afterwards on earth. Only God's grace can wipe away any consequence, and it differs per individual.
