You should have looked at that poster clearly, and you wouldn't be confused.

People vying for Reps, Senate, Guber positions usually put up their pics and that of the presidential candidate. It is done everywhere, North and South not withstanding, and across parties too.

Northerns know the difference between Igbos and Yorubas (ask those who were alive in 1966-67).


However, they may not know the difference between Igbo and Efik, Idoma, Ijaw, Ekpeye, Ogoni etc.

It's the same way most Igbos don't know difference between Fulani,Hausa, Chamba, Kanuri, Kare-Kare,Bolawa, Barbur or Zuru.


Just before the 2011 election, I sampled the opinions of my co-workers in Yobe State about Jonathan and the election.
