"Nigerians Will Regret If They Vote Against Buhari" by nimisola(op): 9:38am On Jan 03, 2019
Chief Olusola Oke, Southwest Director of the Buhari/Osinbajo Campaign Organisation for the 2019 presidential election, says not voting for President Muhammadu Buhari will denote backwardness.

Oke said this while receiving members of Buhari/Osinbajo Strategic Solidarity Movement (BOSSEM) on Wednesday in Akure.

“Voting for candidate apart from President Buhari come 2019, is like the Israelites going back to Egypt but in APC we are focused on Canaan by supporting Buhari.

“Mr President is the real project and APC has a way of finding solutions to its problems, so, that is not a problem. We will all work together,” he said.

Aside the internal crises within the party, Chief Oke, who is a two time governorship candidate in the state, said the major challenge of next general election was for Nigerians to make the right choice.

He assured the movement that the opposing camps within the party would work for the re-election of Mr President.

The campaign director dispelled political insinuations that the internal crises within the the party would affect the second term bid of the president in the South West.

“My primary work is to bring everybody together: the aggrieved and non-aggrieved to have a good showing.

“We need everybody, so whosoever is aggrieved; we will make appeal to them. I am happy about one thing: Whosoever is aggrieved will still work for our President.

“The Yoruba people are very sophisticated politically. Their place in the last election is crucial and critical and it’s going to be same in this election.

“We have our own options and we have weighed the options and at this level, the option of Buhari has no alternative and that is why we are going for him. No doubt, there are challenges,” he said.

According to him, the challenges of what the present administration has been facing for the past three and half years are to lay a new foundation for the growth of the country.

“The super-structure is yet to come. It is now our responsibility as Nigerians to make sure the solid foundation is not destroyed so that the superstructure can be put on it.

“To achieve this is not going to be an easy job, but we are fortified in our belief by the existence of the various groups, that also care about the future.

“Therefore, whatever challenges that we have are not insurmountable and I can assure you, we have put our hands on deck and we are not going to look back,” he assured.

Are you serious. And do you think they are enjoying now. Tell us something new. Nigerians cried during the 80s when the current president was presiding, and when he left they started enjoying, don't you think there is also going to be a repeat. I am just asking

Was it this government that you term "useless" that failed us for 16yrs?

So you wanted the 5yr failure of Jonathan to continue in power to accomplish anything better the 2nd hand trains he achieved in a time of plenty?

Please how did Jonathan take us forward with the below?

I am still surprised how Jonathan did not add a dollar extra to the ECA but ran it down from over $20b in 2010 to $2b in 2015.

I am still surprised that foreign reserves plummeted from $47b in 2010 to $29b in 2015.

Yet this same regime sold crude oil for over $100/barrel for over 4yrs from 2010 to mid 2014.

But the very same regime, despite running down savings and foreign reserves amidst unprecedented high petrodollar revenue, still managed to owe IOCs $6.8b in unpaid counterpart funding for JV oil projects.

To cap it off, it decided that the only thing that should grow was our debt profile which increased in multiples.

To cap the wholesome failure that they were, the same regime had to borrow N470b ($2.5b), so it can pay civil servants' salaries for Feb/March/April 2015 salaries, when crude oil was still selling around $50/barrel.

What would a reelected Jonathan with Okonjo Iweala in Finance have done when crude oil price eventually slumped to $27/barrel?

PDP is an untiring and unrepentant 16yr failure.

Never again!

If voting out buhari is what the word 'regret' entails, then I love regrets and will want to be associated with the word regret all my life, because we now know regret means a good thing in this context.

Those of us that wants to 'regret' after the collations and announcement of the presidential election result, should please wear a fine smile and gather here for a quick selfie.

The word 'regret' now have a new meaning
Regret means: when joy abounds after making the right decision.

so my people, do well and make sure you regret after the general elections, cheers regretterscheesy

I think Olusola Oke is fully saturated with condensed kunù..... It is a pity he's selling himself and his region for a plate of Amala and Ewedu.

"Nigerians were deceived to vote in President Buhari in 2015, thinking he was pro-poor and prudent only for them to be confronted with the most corrupt, deceitful and incompetent administration which has no commitment towards fulfilling any of its campaign promises....

Yes Buhari is the answer
Let's endure another tenure of cluelessness
Let's endure another recession
Let's endure more unemployment and hunger
Let's endure killings in the Northeast
Let's endure death to our economy
Let's endure all this because in 2023 Osibanjo is coming in as president.

Our mission is 2023 not now, please vote Buhari again.
We all can endure another four years after all the hunger in the land is only experienced by south south and southeast people.
