She noticed some ppl were changing nollywood and she was being sidelined,so she did d best she could by being a director somebody who has no experience.

The movie is not boring. It reminds of the squabble between two transport companies in Nsukka, Enugu State 16 years ago.

Its a great movie with many words of wisdom!!

Movie way dey my phone currently.... great actors but the storyline I no too enjoy am...e too simple... I love you Ginny but you can do better!! This is just an honest critic not hate, I hope to see more..Ride on girl, it's your first directed movie

Watched it on Netflix yesterday, inasmuch as it showcased the beautiful igbo culture which was great, experienced actors, however, it was kinda over rated to me. Nothing stunning but a regular act. Not close to King of Boys. Will give it a 6/10

GTFO , there is a reason Neflix bought Lion Heart movie and not King of the boys, is by merit okay, they reviewed that movie and found it worthy, they paid millions of dollars for it, is a natural movie, no fake accent and overacting,a standard , other producers shld take note

The movie is bad. The script is bad. The D.O.P was below average. The scene play is bad. Excellent acting from Genevieve, Pete Edochie and our very own Nkem Owoh.

The story doesn't has much conflict. Everything was predictable. I think Genevieve should just concentrate on acting/production. Almost all the actors gave good account of themselves. The problem with the movie is lack of content, bad directing and screen play. And bad scene play as written earlier.

With this, I believe the best director in Nigeria is Kemi Adetiba. She would have done better. I think Wedding Party is better.

Kudos to Genny and the entire crew and cast. It is no mean feat at all.

Genuine honest reviews and critiques shouldn't be mistaken for hating though, it's all part of the industry so, no need for the insults and counter insults.

Wished a story like mine on my signature could find its way unto Netflix lol

Perhaps you saw another movie. The movie I watched was predictable, bad cinematography, bad directing, bad scene play and lack of substance in the story. There was virtually no conflict. It is the conflict that make good movie stand out. The actors were great, no doubt. Still, you should admit that the movie would have been better if Nkem Owoh played the villain.

Some actors are good in some roles. It doesn't mean they are below par with others. Is is how best for them to showcase their craft. She should cast Nkem Owoh as the villain.

A talented actor doesn't translate to good director. Forget what you saw in the on the credits. Genevieve Nnaji was practically involved in directing the movie. It was a bad job. Kemi Adetiba would have done better. Kunle Afoloyan as well.

My Dutch friends couldn't stand Wedding party but these same friends watch lion's heart to the end. I think it is matter of individual taste and opinion.

The reason could be that Genevieve Nnaji has more marketable value. She is international known, and she is a good fucking actor. People would love to see the movie because it was produced by her.

Honestly, I haven't seen King of Boys. But Lionheart was scrap.
