You should have began the process way earlier than Nov 30th. You'll be extremely lucky to get your grant even before 18th February.
If this is a path to permanent residency, I hope you've read all about the requirement. Wishing you all the best.

I want to advice u based on my thought and findings.
From your age, your chances are slim...so u need to work really hard by first looking for a university and study a course that will lead to PR. check sol list australia( i have assumed u ve written pte or ielts and have about 5m or more for everything...plus a sponsorship account let say 15-16m ). With that being said.....all u need to do is to write a strong sop...let d reason why u want a degree be strong.....if u can do that i think there wont be a problem

Sorry to say, you can't really judge with your friend's timeline. Different cases with different COs.
A lot of folks here including me submitted as far back as October or earlier and still yet to get the grant.
It can come sooner or later, let's just keep praying or hoping for the best.

A friend of mine is in a dilemma, she needs some clarifications. For those that have done medicals, Please does the medicals includes HIV test? if yes, what are the chances of being granted visa even if the result comes out?

Note: she's been positive for 9 years now, very healthy and on ARV drugs, plus, Her viral load is undetectable.
If she is going for a health related course, HIV/hep B test is compulsory, also if she gets to Australia and wishes to apply for PR after her studies, she will also be mandated to do the same test which might be an issue, or else she proves to the aussie govt that she won't be a medical liability to them.

Nobody will do the searching for you. Check through this link

http://cricos.education.gov.au/course/coursesearch.aspx

You apply online, submit your documents online but your biometric and visa fees will be at Ikeja

As per medicals, the moment you have your admission letter and you are certain of SOA (statement of account). You can fill the form online to get your unique number for medicals. Yes,it is advisable you do it prior biometrics to make things faster.

You can do it yourself but some shools will refer you to an agent which you can choose from.

All other correspondence are done via email, calls and your portal.

NB. I am an avid visitor here, not an applicant yet. My submission might not be fully correct but be rest assured that I have done justice to some of questions and hopefully, gurus will make amends where necessary.

Good luck

I have been searching for a social worker from that place.Nice to meet you boss. I'm a Social Work Master's student in UI. Can I meet you privately,Sir?

Is your first degree in SW? Your first degree is what most schools reckon with when it comes to Social Work in Australia. If it is not,I doubt but you can give a short through enquries from the schools.

Hello house... Please I need your expertise advice on this... I got a visa refusal last week Friday and the reason given was that my case officer was not satisfied with the financials available, she said the amount in my statement is enough for 12 months but she is not convinced I will have funds for the subsequent period...The total in all the accounts submitted was about 16million naira.... Now I want to re-apply asap..but I need to ask from people who have gone through the process of re-applying before.

1. Will I have to do the Biometrics and Medicals all over again?
2. Can my Uncle (same surname) come in for me as a Co-sponsor with my parent this time around?
3. What reasons do you think makes sense to put in my GTE letter as to why I did not include my Uncle before (tho I want my Uncle to say he heard about the refusal and has decided to step in to support) but other suggestions are welcome.

My school resumes 18th of March, do you think there is still enough time to apply and get a feedback? as my last application took about 3 months before they denied me.... there was also no correspondence from when I applied to when they sent the refusal...
PLEASE HELP!!!

Have you exhausted the maximum number of documents that can be attached?... If not, I don't think you should have any issue.

Also, did you declare the refusal or they found out themselves?
I applied October..no news at all....I don lose hope

Hmmm, really sorry about the refusal. I know how dreadful it can be.

Straight to the answers;
1) I think you will have to do biometrics again but not medicals since it's still within 12 months from your previous

2) You can use your uncle too. It will strengthen the finances. You even share surname, u dey alright.

3) I don't think you need to say anything about that. Just add a letter of co sponsorship from him.

4) You can meet up with March 18 if you apply this week. Es possible

I have my questions for you too

1) When did they start to consider subsequent years?.. This your matter don make me lose hope.

2) 16 million no dey enough again after paying tuition deposit. My Statement no even near 16million, smh sad

3) Is your program 3 years or 2 years?

4) Do you have a good inflow and outflow on the statement of account you submitted

For us way we no get up to 16m in our account, wetin be our fate so.... Immi don change goal post from 12 months option to total duration of program. Yebariba!!!!

Walahi, I'm ankling... Hasta luego

l declared it from the onset I have not exceeded the number of documents, I think something is wrong with their site or am not doing something right. The agent am using has not been able to press the confirm button too

Infact I am just confused when they started considering subsequent years...My course is a 2year program... There is inflow and outflow, tho it might not be up to 16million after another year but that is not supposed to be their problem...

Thank for the feedback.. i should re-apply this week Gods willing...

You dont have to loose hope... we have different lucks... I wish u the best...
