I lament for the Body of Christ.
I am very concerned about what we have made out of
this our precious faith.
No different than unbelievers, Christians today no longer live in love but despise one another. Denominations and personal interests have divided the Body of Christ.
But worse still is an evil that has insidiously eaten deep into the church- Religious standards, Judgemenralism and Self-righteousness.
The Jews are, according to God's plan, the rightful owners of Christianity. Yet when the Messiah they were expecting for centuries finally came, they were so blinded by their religiousity, expected standards and judgmentalism that not only did they not recognise and accept Jesus Christ but rebuked Him and ultimately crucified Him.

Why was Jesus Christ crucified by the Jews?
Because of the same habit that has overtaken Christians today- Religious Standardization, Self-righteousness and Judgementalism.
We have created expectations of how men of God should look like.
We have become so prosperity-conscious and ostentation-driven that a poor person can't even preach to us. We don't want to hear his poor man's gospel. We expect the person that will preach to us to be rich since we want to be rich.
Can't a man of God also be poor? Does it even matter his social status? Is it not His knowledge of the gospel and fruit that are His testimony?

The Move and Manifestation of God some times especially when important cannot be religiously analysed. They have to be spiritually discerned.
Examples abound in the scriptures.
The death of Christ was shocking and depressing to the disciples because they didn't understand that was His mission. Even the call of Paul was questioned and resisted by the early disciples if not for Barnabas who pleaded on His behalf. When Moses married an Ethiopian (a black) wife, it shook the Israelites, that even his own family/priests Aaron and Miriam questioned his calling had God not quickly come to his defense. I just want us to be sensitive to the move of the Spirit and not be quick to assume we know things and end up misjudging things, especially at this crucial last days.

Perhaps the most worrisome is how we are so judgmental and critical of one another.
If we don't agree on the same thing, should it lead to abusing one another? Should we hurl insults at one another?
Should it lead to cursing one another?

It is a shameful thing, when unbelievers are repelled by our behaviours as we bear even worse fruits that are not even spoken of among unbelievers.

Christianity is not just spirituality. It is bearing of good fruit. If all you can do is pray in tongues and preach the gospel but you have no love, you will be very shocked on judgment day. Even before judgment day, you will have your reward and it won't be a good one. Because of the souls you have caused to stumble by your bad fruits.

I believe every one who calls themselves a Christian and still manifests pride is not of the Kingdom of God. And I believe every Christian should be familiar with the fruit of the Spirit. Galatians 5:22-23.
Please rate your own self daily and know how far away or how much of the Light you are.
God will certainly unite His church again with or without you. I hope when the Bridegroom comes, we all make a suitable bride.

It's a certainty, study the book of Revelation. Most people who profess to be Christians will still not repent even after been shown their corrupt ways because their hearts are far from God. May God help us to stay on course.

Yes, that's why I urge us to intercede for one another for the sake of those that can still be saved but blinded by the enemy and their own ignorant love for darkness.
