Oh okay. Thanks. Cos am still considering paying for the car. Also got an 05 Pontiac vibe. Heard it’s the same engine as a Toyota Matrix. So am thinking which will be better. ?

If for strickly Uber sake.. I will pick the pontiac vibe over the Ford Focus.. But if for personal use/Uber as side hustle..i will take the 06 Ford focus.

But to be on a safer said.. Toyota Matrix with comprehensive insurance wins for the strickly Uber hustle cheesy

I carry this riders from Ayobo to abule egba back to mushin. Almost 3 hours ride on Taxify. They were 3 yahoo guys. The amount was 6k. One did a fraudulent transfer and showed me transaction success which I believed its a screen shot from a previous transfer. B4 I open my mobile app the 3 of them came out from d car immediately. Ran into one very bad joint full with bad guys and girls smoking all type of smokes. I called them to let me get alert b4 they can leave but this guys use speed enter in d midst of crowd. I've been calling the guy, he has blocked my line. If na uber it would have been better. I hv narrated every thing to Taxify, I wonder if they will pay me. +2347016986480 and 07086223552 that's the guys no. Please u guys should help me call them. Thanks

The net earnings on taxify I posted above are for a period of 9 weeks ending today. Uber has no format similar to taxify so I had to manually calculate my earnings on uber for the past 9weeks.

Bear in mind that full 3 months is 12 weeks

Total net earnings for 9 weeks on uber and taxify = 1,006,381

shocked shocked Ojigbijigbi 1m in less than three months ha mo ti lo go slow ni o.
Meanwhile it's a diet.

To be honest, no matter how careful you are, this is something you really have no control over.

This is where Uber trumps taxify. When I was driving, this was the single factor that made me do more of Uber as your money is guaranteed even if rider defaults

Yea, u re on point. but Taxify refunds card trips, can’t really say on cash trips. I have been refunded on card trips so many times.

Very realistic, you just ve to basically live in your car, and work night and day. grin grin grin
I see such drivers in this line of work all day.
Your toiletries, box or suitcase and perhaps utensils will be in your boot. If the rider have load u adjust your stuffs for him.

You have a point... I'm just saying, if someone gets out of your car in a bid you run and not pay, just like the poster's case, how many times will you park your car and start chasing after them?

The best you can do is enable child lock and central lock, but after a while, you'll get tired of opening doors for riders.

So the best thing is for the ride sharing company to guarantee should rider default in payment cos there's really a limit to what you can do.

What do you do with such riders, run inside the joint to fight with them and get stabbed? If you use child lock and imprison them in the car with you in such a terrible environment, you actually run the risk of getting robbed of your phones or vehicle, or both. . .

To all the drivers on Taxify. When you end trip wait till after you collect your money or see your alert before you confirm payment on the app. So that So that you can report the trip incase rider do not pay.

Taxify don't send receipt until you confirm payment.

Once you confirm payment. Taxify will not pay you.
