FOR PHD SCHOLARSHIP

Candidates should have Masters degree with MPhil/PhD grade. It takes about 3 to 4 years to complete in China depending on the school and course

FOR MSC SCHOLARSHIP

Candidates should have a minimum of BSc 2.2. HND with Postgraduate diploma can also apply for MSC as a friend won it last year. People with only HND can also try to apply for MSC. It takes about 2 to 3 years to complete it in China depending on the school and course

FOR BSC SCHOLARSHIP

Candidates should have a minimum of 5 to 9 credits/distinctions. It takes about 4 to 6 years to complete it in China depending on the school

SCHOLARSHIP BENEFITS

(1) Free Tuition

On-campus living: Master’s degree students-double room
Doctoral degree students-single room
Off-campus living: master’s degree students-RMB 8,400 per year
Doctoral degree students- RMB 12,000 per year

(3) Free Stipend:

Undergraduate degree students-RMB 30,000 per year
Master’s degree students-RMB 36,000 per year
Doctoral degree students- RMB 42,000 per year

• The scholarship deadline depends on the university. Some university deadline is February while some is March or April.
• You can apply to 1 to 4 universities. You will need to create different email address to log in for each application. However, when filling the
online form, you can enter one email address for all of your application.
• If you applied to four schools and are successful in them, you will need to accept one and reject the remaining three schools. Hence, you can apply to only one school if you wish.

SUMMARY ON 2019 BSC, MSC AND PHD CHINESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP

a. There are five different types of Chinese Government scholarship that you can apply for. The CHINESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP- UNIVERSITY PROGRAMME offers full scholarship. b. You can apply to the five scholarships above if you have the capital and time, But quality matters. At least, try and apply for only one scholarship scheme and in one school especially the CHINESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP- UNIVERSITY PROGRAMME if you don’t have much money. I know someone who only applied to one university through CHINESE GOVERNMENT SCHOLARSHIP- UNIVERSITY PROGRAMME and won and I know another person that apply to all the 5 different scholarship schemes and still did not win.

c. Chinese universities accept HND with PGD, HND only, BSC for Masters and MSc (minimum MPhil grade) for PhD scholarship. However, each university has different requirements as the entry requirements varies. Great opportunity to gain overseas scholarship as most criteria nowadays are high

Are you shitting me? Of course a Passport is necessary, how do you hope to travel? Go to Ikoyi passport office with your 35k and they will do it for you.

How about someone interested in their BSc program? Is Neco result good enough? And how about the student senior secondary school transcripts?

No. Your WAEC can't serve as English proficiency. This you can get from your college / tertiary institution.
