Should the husband take advantage of her because of that, it means the husband is immature in the first degree. You see, if what we have nowadays is what you're calling education, I'm afraid you're mistaken. How many times has there being increase in the rise of broken marriages and children born out of wedlock since this your education is now being accepted widely.
Now is not the time to see the full fledge of people raising children without two opposite genders around. In the next ten, fifteen years, you'll see that our people were not mad when roles of husbands and wives were defined in those days and every couple did what was expected of them.

Do you know the Efik people practice a system of matriarchal heritage and even the Hausa/Fulani value their girl child in certain terms than their boy child? Even the yorubas are divided in their opinions about how to treat the girl child and the Ijaws give an equal share until recently. It is the Igbos who still stick to patriarchy and it's understood that cultures differ

Most Nigerian girls, especially those on NL have turned this 'feminism' into men/male bashing.. I read about feminism, I even took it as an elective (Women in Society) while in school, I subscribed to 98% of their arguements/demands.. But Nairaland girls changed that... Them change am.

“Freezing their eggs” like it is one pour water you will just go on the street and buy. Hello oh! Only a tiny percentage of women can afford that expensive procedure.

The gender equality bill is for Nigerian women not certain tribes ,so I dont even see the need why because certain tribes are not gender biased others don't get the right to be liberated.
