My guess is those shipments aren't in Nigeria yet, had a discussion with someone who works at NIPOST where they sort items out at the airport and he said they are mandated to sort cargoes at most 48hrs after it gets to Lagos.

My thought exactly, I believe the items haven't reached Nigeria.
What amazes is just that these items come in through, so why will it take them more three weeks to reach Nigeria from Asia?

Maybe because the planes carrying AliExpress cargo don't fly direct from China to Nigeria, heck they may make like 8 stops that may take a few days each between them before reaching Nigeria from China, or it may be even be different planes transferring AliExpress cargo at different airports in between China n Nigeria. AliExpress shipping isn't really obligated to be 100% honest about their shipping as long as it works imho

I really don't know whether it was sent to customs when I tracked it but here is a pic attached. At the post office, they brought out this paper claiming it was tagged by customs.

Yh... Buy sometimes it could stay longer in Lagos. I experienced this in 2017
