IELTS:
We wrote Ielts about 11 times, I wrote 3 times and stopped writing while wifey continued writing until she made it in her 8 attempts. So guys please never give up and don’t look at the money. Ielts made me look like someone who doesn’t know anything. I was supposed to be the PA because I have more work experience and qualification. But wifey was later made the PA because her scores were far better than mine in Ielts.

ur and also want to thank my lovely wife and my lovely sister for her support and encouragement, she never gave up on us even when Ielts was dealing with us. I also want to thank mcstan18, Glitteringstar, newmum0610, vcole, 40manlappy, tojued, dupyshoo, happytbaby, esosa4real, ItsYourFriend, cochtrane for their supports.

It has ended in praise. Please don’t give up. Do it for yourself and your children. Please ignore the typo. Na rush I use type am now.

Reason why I am asking is because of the way these white people think. I fear they may think that why am I not collecting the money from my parents, why my in-laws? Like, won't they think that I borrowed it from my in-laws? Please house advise?

Guys please I need help!!!! I just got my Wes evaluation and found that Wes made a mistake with my date of birth. They wrote 26th May Instead of 25th May, although the mistake came from waec because that's what they also wrote on my waec certificate. Please what do I do. I'm so worried

I beleive an affidavit with Actual Birth certificate would suffice in your EE application

However - This is the reason WES now ask for WAEC certificate.

Yes WAEC made a mistake but this certificate i want to believe you have had for a while at least what steps did you take to correct it

For everyone else, if there are conflicts with your date of birth Please correct it before sending your documents out for evaluation

Your spouse is accompanying, right? So no fear. The gift deed should state clearly that the gift is for their child and his/her spouse.

Hi Guys, for work history, does it raise any flag if a job one is claiming points on has a job title is written as "system integration consultant/ Business Analyst"?

What matters most is the NOC and your responsibilities.

Titles are just titles nothing more

This is my story, short but inspiring.

1st IELTS attempt with BC (10th Nov 2018)
Saw my result on the 24th Nov 2018 as follows: LRWS = 5.5, 7, 7, 7.5 (overall band 7)
# I knew my listening result would be a mess right from the time I finished the exams because I went blank at a point and did not concentrate to follow up the questions. Although, I did not bother because I trust my ability. So I immediately register for another exams

2nd IELTS attempt with IDP MOD (1st Dec 2018)
Saw my result on the 14th Dec 2018 as follows: LRWS = 8.5, 8, 6.5, 8.5 (overall band cool
# I was a bit disappointed with my writing score because I knew what I wrote and deserve more than 6.5. So I opted in for an EOR the same day (14th) and requested for a remark on my writing. Fast forward 8th Jan 2019 (exactly 25 days), i received an email from IDP MOD saying "We are pleased to inform that we have received the outcome of your remark. Please be informed to complete the form below and avail us with the scanned copy via email." Immediately I checked online again for my result, behold it has changed from 6.5 to 7.

So my new result is: LRWS = 8.5, 8, 7, 8.5. With this result I am good to go for the express entry profile creation as my point alongside my spouse is now over 450 points.

My advise: If you know what you have written and received a below expectation result, kindly go for EOR. A trial is not a crime, go for it. Wish you guys the best of luck for those still trying the IELTS exams.

Please try to practice the speaking more with someone and also learn and perfect the PAst Present Future Method It works really well.

And try not to panic or fidget. Just flow its not an interview its just a chat.

Hello guys. Please I have a little problem. I just tried creating a profile and I got the message that I'm not eligible. I have 8.5,8,7,8 in LRWS while my spouse has 5,5,6,7.5 in LRWS. I have B1,B1,B1,C1 in TEF and I'm 27. But I'm getting "not eligible" in the account I'm trying to create. Please someone help me. I'm new here. Thank you

Check NOC - must be 0,A or B and POF too

Hi everyone.

I am a JJC here and have been keeping up with the thread. Pls i have 2 questions to clarify. I claimed points from my elder brother who just landed in Canada last month. He is staying with a friend in Calgary.

1. He recently opened an account with Canada TD Trust. I want to use his bank statement for proof of his address. Seeing that his bank account was just opened a few weeks ago with just 1 or 2 transactions, is this okay? He also said he will send me a copy of his phone bill on Jan 12. This is the first bill he will have in his name. Will this be ok too? The bank statement and phone bill are the only documents he can provide as proof of address.

2. For sibling status in Canada, can i use his COPR? His PR card has not been issued yet.

Thank you.

Hi everyone,

Please I need anyone that can assist to help me clear this answer.
I have a cousin in Manitoba who wants to act as my sponsor/family member so I can get nominated for the PNP
but the problem is that he just got his permanent residence 3 months ago but has lived in Manitoba for over 4 years.
Is he still qualified to sponsor me?
I am afraid not, the person has to be a permanent resident also living in Manitoba, for at least one year, before he can sponsor

There are two things. one would be your NOC and the other could be your work experience. if you have work experience that you are claiming points for and maybe you have recently switched jobs. if the most recent experience is not up to one year, it will knock you off. so fix these things and then create your profile. comprihende?

I have a very similar case. Add your half sister with the current age she has on her passport.

My brother inlaw (footballer) is like 6 years younger than his younger brother(last born).

He is included in our application just in case.

She is not in Canada. I doubt she even knows about the program. We only wanted to mention her just in case she decides to come to Canada some day.

It's always wonderful coming here each day to read the testimonials and insights from others.

I'm hoping on starting mine by October/November this year after I have conquered proof of funds.

You see, Proof of funds has been my setback in many opportunities I have gotten for abroad. I'm from a family where no one is rich enough to give you anything. I'm determined to conquer this POF and gift myself, my wife and my unborn kids a better future.

Conquering POF is my new year resolution. I hope I come back to share my testimony when the deed is done.

The truth hardly any person ever leaves Nigeria even if na Cotonou or Ghana and wants to come back to Naija.

Sorry to butt in but this is such a terrible take, and if I were him I'd ignore you too. You "got" his number meaning he didn't give it to you and doesn't know you but instead of calling and introducing yourself, then asking for the favor you needed you sent WhatsApp messages.

Can you imagine a stranger sending you Whatsapp messages asking for a favor e.g money? (extreme example but same difference)

I'm going to assume that every one of us on this journey is reasonably mature and we understand the basic etiquettes of communication, so why do we throw it out when we log on here?

I think all of us need to realize that every answer we see or get here comes from the benevolence of the heart of the sharer no one owes us anything. Once we recognize this, maybe we'll be kinder to each other, and more grateful for the abundance of information available on these threads

Anyways congratulations on acing IELTS, I hope the rest of your PR journey is smooth and uneventful.
