Obtaining it online is very ok without stress at all.
Yeah, Ibadan centre has good headphone facilities.
aydotaone:
Please, would you recommend obtaining IELTS form online or go to their center to apply?

Also, does Ibadan center has good facilities for listening (headphone)?

Thanks

Now apart from my former school, how can my current employers issue me a reference letter with a letter heading?
Also, I want to show bank statements for the money I received. But would I need to bring bank statements for the entire duration o worked with each person or will a particular number of months' statements be enough?
Please help. Thank you.

Thanks joo2018. I am grateful.you just opened my eyes to the implications. Just to check ...if i edit the profile will I have to a write a LOE during submission of my POF about the 'edit' since CIC will see my initial POF?
THANKS

joo2018:
The whole thing is such a unique case.

My 2cents. Try to edit the "ineligible" profile ( eg. increase the POF). If you can edit it, then it is active and you can use it like that.

On the other hand, you are not supposed to have more than one active profile, but I think there will be an exception this time. I'm sure most people have already opened new profiles.

But this is poor from CIC. Why would there be no communication on this issue. And they pride themselves as the most open department in government. SMH.

Hmm. For the private tutor thing, you might need to go as self-employed. Check page 1 of this thread or earlier threads for how people got PPR with self-employed or try the search bar.

Good morning house,

I was one of the applicants that got the new year 'ineligible' express entry profile message. I read testimonies of creating a new profile, increasing the POF and becoming eligible but I decided to stay action on creating a new profile till i see an official information on their website about the "increase in POF" but none up till now.

Long and short is I prepared to create a new profile just now. I logged into the "ineligible" account profile and I saw the info which says I am eligible again although no message was sent to that effect. I still have the ineligible message in my account though. I also had two ghost updates between Jan 1 and now.

Right now it says I meet the minimum criteria. #You are a candidate. We will send you a message if you are invited to apply# ....OK ohhhhh

I am thinking the whole ineligible profile message was just a glitch like some have pointed out.Should I go ahead and create another profile? I hope I wont have issues post AOR about my eligibility?.I intend to increase the POF in my account before submitting my application to give room for an increase in POF requirement that IRCC might introduce.

Note: I received an ITA before now but had to decline towards the deadline last december. I am expecting another ITA today @464

I will appreciate your comments and opinions.thanks
I don't think there's need to create another account since the present one has become eligible again.

Those that created new accounts should even check theirs too to avoid duplicity of account.. then delete one account where need be.

Since the ineligibility stuff has been rectified, I'm guessing there may be a draw today.. all the best people. smiley

Hello, I started out my listening in uppercase and then got worried and continued the rest in regular sentence format [starting each with a capital letter]. It got me worried, but I got a 9 in listening.

Hope this helps.

Babeakosua:
Good morning everyone,

Please for those who have taken the computer-based IELTS, is it allowed to answer all the listening and reading questions in uppercase?

Your responses will be appreciated.

Hello house, I'm yet to enter the pool because of WES and hubby's ICES. However, we are trying to gather all resources while we await our Eca. My Aunt (my mother's twin sister) intend to give us part of our required pof as gift deed but the issue now is we do not bear the same surname as she is from my maternal side. How do I proof your relationship in the absence of birth certificate. Is there any place to fill in mother's maiden name in the application process?
Please help me out with suggestions.

They wrote 26th May Instead of 25th May, although the mistake came from waec because that's what they also wrote on my waec certificate. Please what do I do. I'm so worried. I already posted this here and someone suggested an affidavit. But I just got off the phone with a friend and she's saying I have to ask waec to resend. Please what do you think? embarassed

Good morning people, please is there anybody who has booked an appointment with Qlife this month and is willing to swap dates with me? I have an appointment tomorrow and unfortunately, I won't be able to make it. I actually thought I booked for January 14, and I just called them this morning to postpone it, only to learn that it's actually tomorrow. The next available date is in April.

Thank you NeneSisi for your response. Personally, i would prefer to use uppercase i don't want to be stressing about proper noun and the likes but from your result i don't think it mattered what case was used.

Congratulations

Really inspiring...
Sparks026:
This is my story, short but inspiring.

1st IELTS attempt with BC (10th Nov 2018)
Saw my result on the 24th Nov 2018 as follows: LRWS = 5.5, 7, 7, 7.5 (overall band 7)
# I knew my listening result would be a mess right from the time I finished the exams because I went blank at a point and did not concentrate to follow up the questions. Although, I did not bother because I trust my ability. So I immediately register for another exams

2nd IELTS attempt with IDP MOD (1st Dec 2018)
Saw my result on the 14th Dec 2018 as follows: LRWS = 8.5, 8, 6.5, 8.5 (overall band cool
# I was a bit disappointed with my writing score because I knew what I wrote and deserve more than 6.5. So I opted in for an EOR the same day (14th) and requested for a remark on my writing. Fast forward 8th Jan 2019 (exactly 25 days), i received an email from IDP MOD saying "We are pleased to inform that we have received the outcome of your remark. Please be informed to complete the form below and avail us with the scanned copy via email." Immediately I checked online again for my result, behold it has changed from 6.5 to 7.

So my new result is: LRWS = 8.5, 8, 7, 8.5. With this result I am good to go for the express entry profile creation as my point alongside my spouse is now over 450 points.

My advise: If you know what you have written and received a below expectation result, kindly go for EOR. A trial is not a crime, go for it. Wish you guys the best of luck for those still trying the IELTS exams.

Again this was answered yesterday.

If you want to correct the DOB on your WAEC certificate you would have to go to WAEC to do that and you would need to convince WES that it was indeed an error.

You can proceed with your application and suppor your claim with an LOE that it was a mistake.

Truthfully

25th of May to 26th of May is not a big big issue. It feel more like a genuine mistake to be honest

The year of birth remain the same with what you have on international passport and BirthCertificate , no age reduction or increment.

So fear not.

Continue yor application and you can try to rectify with WAEc on the side. But no need re-evaluating because of that.
