It's easy for a donkey to pass through a needle than for a Bsc applicant to get admitted without test of English. Just do it and you'll not regret. Remember, you still have blocked account, interview fees, flight fees etc to battle. All the best

There are about 5 schools that accept letter of English proficiency , but having the english test ups your game.

I really don't know if there's a place in DE am not there yet.
But you can download good resources that can aid your development here free, just focus on practicing alot and dedicate your time, maybe 4 to 6 hour's a day coding cool.
You don't really have to go to any major school to learn how to code

www.freetutorials.eu
www.git.ir
www.w3schools.com

If you encounter errors Google the errors or use
www.stackoverflow.com

Thank you.
I’ve actually started doing some practice on this. Would there be any need to have certificate to be eligible to getting an IT related jobs over there??
Anyone??
Please your help will be highly appreciated.

Well, 2.54/5 in German grade is 2.84 which is low. You need a 2.5-1.0 in German grade which is equivalent to a 3.0-5.0 in Nigeria grade...can you be admitted for MSC?, Yes!, would it b very very difficult?, YES!!..
You best bet would b to apply for another bsc and write ielts but if u want to apply for MSC check thru daad.de for schools, make sure you search for programs that are non restricted, add supporting documents like work experience related to the course, professional exams e.t.c and write an A+ motivation letter also apply to a lot of schools

Concerning list of schools, Check daad.de for schools that offer geology or type "list of university in Germany" via google and browse thru each list. Concerning waiving ielts, you can only find out thru mailing the school

PstTobi:
I studied applied geophysics in my undergraduate I graduated with 2.54gpa am planning to apply for my masters degree in Geolgy can I be admitted.
And please can you list schools that waive ielts and that offers geology. Thanks

As a direct entry student, what documents do you have?. Well if u have your complete transcript, degree certificate you shouldn't have a problem.

ItsArr:
Good morning FAM. Please I want to ask if its possible to apply to German universities if I am a direct entry student? Does it affect my chances of admission? Responses are appreciated, thank you!
Re: General German Student Visa Enquiries Part 5 by Fabcol(m): 6:25am On Jan 10, 2019
Uniassist would definitely send it to the school no worries, you could also mail the school(including your name, uniassist app numb and course applied for) to know if they v received it

The visa application process visa uniassist isn't possible here in Nigeria.. You would need your admission letter

danielsunky:
Good people, please I got a mail from uni assist that my application has been reviewed and forwarded to the intended school (HTW BERLIN). How do I track the application considering the fact that time is no longer on my side.

Also, uni assist stated that I can start my visa application process.. But how do I do this without the admission letter?

Guys, please I need your advice on this issue. Prior to my coming in touch with Nairaland Germany student visa forum, I was misinformed regarding the procedure of application to schools in Germany. I made a mistake which (personally) I feel might be damning to my interview which will hold on the 16th of this month. I had my original documents (statement of result, transcript, ielts) certified (as in they where all stamped). I have been using them without an issue, I got admission with it. I have never felt it could be an issue. Just last month while crosschecking my documents, I had a what if feeling, so I just reapplied to my school to get my original certificate and another transcript but lo and behold, I still haven't gotten them till today. Therefore I am going to use these certified originals, I don't know if this will be a problem, if there's an alternative. Thank you

You'll be fine bro. Just make photocopies of your originals and take them along for the interview. Remember to work with the checklist. Make sure you have everything listed there.
God bless

please good people of Nairaland.... can you List out the universities that doesn't require Uni-assist for application...

Like schools that gives students access to apply by uploading their qualifications on their application portal.....I mean direct application by uploading the required documents into their admission portal....

Open daad.de
When you input your course and filter

Open each entry on a new tab. Check under Requirements/Registration.
You'll be told whether it's directly online, via uni assist, or totally offline (i.e via post mail).
You can take a step forward by opening the course website. You'll find it in the daad page.
You can also take a confirmatory step forward by sending an email to the course coordinator. You'll find his/her email on the daad page too. They reply messages. Ask them any question relating to your admission.

Shalom!

Please I need suggestions as my date is fast approaching

You can approach the ministry of education and see what can be done for you.
The FSLC issue can be dicey. Some people didn't go with it, and they weren't Disturbed. Some didn't go with it, and they were returned... It's better to be safe. Exhaust every means possible, if there's nothing else that can be done, then just pray for God's favour.

Good afternoon friends, brothers, sisters and family

Yesterday I succeeded in collecting my letter of English proficiency and forwarding my transcript so I can get it from my school

But I have another thing running through my mind. I studied Environmental Health Technology at Hnd Level and Environmental Health Science at Bsc level but as at the time I would apply come April, I would be able to use the Hnd because the Bsc cert won't be available by then

Is there any school you can refer me to that prefers letter of English Proficiency to TOEFL. i am looking for any means to boycott that TOEFL exams. Any help in sourcing for any school with any related course at Bsc level will be appreciated

I don try tire to dey search

God bless everyone

You'll know all these stuffs when you mail the course coordinator of the school you're applying to.
They'll tell you everything you need to know.

The image attached is a screenshot from my mail box. I asked them if proficiency letter is acceptable, and he replied that I must have TOEFL or IELTS.

Did you read well before quoting me or you just want to prove a point.

I said Bsc and not Msc. If you mean Bsc, well it'll be tough because they uses point for test of english than letter of proficiency.

It'll be nice if you can post the names of the schools and courses.

Good morning people
I'm trying to apply for a masters degree program at University rwth Aachen and I just discovered that there is no option for uploading of motivation letter. Is it not a requirement?

Do I convert my cgpa to German format or I should retain the Nigerian 5.0 format when filling the form?

Bro if you know how to code, no one would ask you for a certificate but you would be discussing, what you want to earn per hour. Please focus on mastering and becoming a good programmer not a "certificate one"
