I am not trying to make light of the ordeal or commonize it nor being insensitive to the pain and wound that's still very much fresh but honestly, c'est la vie. It is sad, we don't all take personal responsibility for ourselves and it is doubly sad when we are taken advantage of

Sexual assault, as we all know it, is unwanted and unlawful sexual intercourse period. In the case of adults, it is any sexual contact with someone, when a person, male or female, touches another person sexually without their consent, and touching can be done with any part of the body or with an object. It essentially is, when a person is coerced or physically forced to engage in sex against their will. I remember on Dec 29, 2018, as clear as day, saying, I see you as a strong woman that you are and that's was from knowing that you are a beautiful, fearless, feisty, tough and strong survivor.

Most people, really aren't who they say they are and that's why I wish people look like their true personalities because, take for example, the "born again married boss" that is a wolf among sheep. He didn't appear as a wolf in wolf's clothing but came as a wolf in sheep's clothing. Now blaming the wolf isnt going to help the sheep much. The sheep taking cognizance of Matthew 10:16 above, must learn not to fall into the clutches of the wolf

If we are to ask, "why me?" about bad things, then we equally, should also ask, "why me?" about the good things that's happened over, in our lives, so if to counter "WHY ME?" with WHY NOT YOU?, then obviously, it's purely because as in 1 Corinthians 10:13 above, you could handle it.

As an introvert expressing myself can be strenous especially when am wronged. I just cant look at theists eyeball to eyeball and say "guy/babe, i dey vex for you"...
I have never really forgiven a wrong easily, i must pay you in your own coin. The sad part of it is that i smile and laugh when am angry, you will have no clue... And then out of your blue your school certificate or a crucial document gets flushed down the toilet (am exaggerating oh)...

This mama of fellowship of christian student tongue trashed me to the extent i almost drank jik. It stung like hurt.
I couldnt bare it, i threw her follow-come charger in a garbage bin out of our hostel..

But the suspect was another girl, an innocent girl who she lent the charger earlier on was accused of misplacing the charger. Innocent girl dropped back the charger right before my eyes, and then i picked it up and discarded it.

I feel ashamed of that cowardly act and i regret causing the innocent girl to receive blame.

But,
This mama was filled with the holy spirit that has guided and revealed things to her. Why didnt the holy spirit tell her the girl was innocent? Why? Or at worst tell her it was an act of vengeance by me?

PS: for those of you that will castigate me i was younger then, and i regret my actions. Had i known i would have reacted better

Dreams and prayers
It baffles me as to how much Christians etch meanings to dreams.
The scan showed a baby girl and all members of my family dreamt I was gonna have a girl. It was tempting to do the pink shopping.
So baby turned out to be a boy to the shock of everyone.
The question is; why did the dream show us(yes,me inclusive) the inverse of reality?

Also,

My sister told me that it was her prayers that changed the baby sex. Since my dad had no male child she knelt and beseeched God to change the baby to a boy.

Hilarious right?
I wondered why he could change a baby sex at her request and not answer her prayers concerning issues of her life.
Sister sowed seeds for some particular intentions and fasted for days without results. If he could change the baby's sex why couldn't he Grant her some of her requests?

They expect God to wave a wand, and immediately conjure a solution to their distress; after all, he does the impossible. You may be a christian but you are not exempted from experiencing the challenges of life but the victory comes in knowing God personally. Next, they judge the reality of God through the experience of folks whose actions, prophecies, and all portray the fact that they have zero knowledge of the Bible or God. The folks who follow God, know the Word of God and apply it in their lives become invisible during their experience. The actions and wrongs of a christian becomes evidence for the non-existence of God. Seriously? Even the good of believers cannot qualify as evidence for the existence of God. Whatever we do is independent of the nature and existence of God. Stop saying this christian did that, that christian did this to justify your unbelief in God. It is absurd whatever the facet of observation.

A so-called christian in one of his addresses to the Op stated that prophecies and revelations have been done away with. Gosh. This is embarrassing. I can only tell you to do your investigation. I don't have the time or energy to go into this except to point out the error of that statement.

Op, you may give a thousand reasons for leaving christianity, it is your decision. I only know that the reasons you have pointed out so far have nothing, absolutely nothing to do with justification for not believing in God.

Go and read the Bible to see where it is written that in the last days men will become evil in greater dimension such that their warm heart will turn cold. The Bible also mentioned that there would be wars, disasters, death and famine but it never said that God would stop them from happening. God is more interested in the salvation of your soul which does not die than in saving the body because Christ did not die on the cross to save the human body; rather, He died on the cross to save the human soul. That does not mean He doesn't save people in situations of danger but His ultimate goal is for your undying soul to be saved so that you can spend eternity with Him when your time on earth is up.

God is responsible for everything but is God responsible for your unbelief? Your lack of belief in His existence?

You misconstrue my explanations to mean digging up excuses for God. What has God done that He needs excuses or someone to frame excuses for Him? When He created you He did not need your permission or an excuse for putting life into you.

Lastly, man-made denominations have nothing to do with following God. Even among christians you will find division evidenced by the erection of denominations. This is inconsequential as long as one is truly following Christ. No confusion in following Christ but great confusion in following man who claims to be following Christ.

Healing
I have battled with a chronic illness since birth that scientifically have no cure. I have been prayed for the umpteenth time by men of God,prayer warriors, infact i even had the handkerchief blessed by a VERY POPULAR MAN OF GOD in Nigeria placed on me. My health got no better at all. Saying i had faith more than a mountain is an understatement,so why wasnt i healed? My health hindered me from studying medicine abroad when i secured two admissions to study in Europe.
Also, i realised i never knew anybody personally that got healed of any ailment. Nah! It nevers exceeds the television. I have known people with ailments that are christians and born agains despite a devotion to God. I often wondered why what i saw in the TV never occured to those i knew personally

Have you ever at all, seen a mustard seed before? There above is a picture of one and the correct reading is "... if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, "Move from here to there," and it will move..." Now, are you familiar with hyperbole(s) and understand them?. Well Michellekabod1, that statement by Jesus is constructed as a hyperbole, it used extreme exaggeration to make a point and show emphasis. If I say, I am so hungry, I can eat a whole horse. You dont really believe, I can eat a whole horse, do you but you do get from statement, my point of how ravenously hungry I am

Jesus, also used mustard seeds as a hyperbole elsewhere, and that's in a parable. Luke 13:18-19, Mark 4:30-32 and Matthew 13:31-32, above, is where and how He used mustard seeds in a parable. Now, there's that certain knowledgeability by Mark, who knows, birds cant possibly build nests on mustard plant branches but do nest in its shade, however the extreme exaggeration in Luke 13:18-19 and Matthew 13:31-32 were not only used to make a point but also were used, to accentuate the point, that faith is powerful and faith grows from small beginnings to beyond the realm of reason unimaginable great happenings.

Michellekabod1, it is with a heavy heart I am reading and responding to your post. I see a lot of familiarity of the knowledge of the bible in your comments and worrisomely see your vast swathes of lack of understanding the information in and/or knowledge of the bible.

Michellekabod1, do you know the potential of an acorn oaknut seed?
In that acorn oaknut seed, are furnitures for a home, like beds to sleep in, chairs or settees to sit and relax in, dinning tables to eat on, is the scaffolding planks for building a home, is a tree that birds will build nests in, is wood to make coffins with, you get the drift as the list goes on

Everything needed on earth is in a seed. Keep this in mind, because I am going to refer back to it and talk more about it, when responding to you next and immediately below

Aside you wondering, why what you saw on TV never occurred to those you know personally, have you also ever considered that, you might be the cause behind that, that it is you, withholding that healing?
Do you know what you would have learnt, if you had gone on that course, to study medicine?

Remember you secured two admissions to study medicine, two admissions to study in Europe?. Do you know the symbolic meaning of that number two in the context of your narrative? The two "admissions to study in Europe", the repetition is a guidance, advice or information aimed at telling you, to pay attention. That is why it is repeated twice. The repetition was encouraging you to build on faith and trust wholeheartedly in a latent supernatural ability you already have and residing in you, as a seed, that requires growing from and by going to medical school. Somehow you didnt figure this out, so did not follow on and follow through on it, now the miracle and healing is still inside that "seed". Its possibly you, from not going on to study medicine after securing two admissions in Europe, that's kept and still is keeping the world waiting on and waiting for this miracle and healing to happen.

The world has rules it obeys and abides by, and so everything happens within the rules, even miracles that Ranchhoddas is fascinated over it too is no exception, as it as well, happens within the rules. Checkmark that rules are obeyed and abide by, then Walla! Miracle happens

Now, you should appreciate and be getting to understand the reason why Jesus often uses hyperboles and especially with faith inconjunction with the mustard seed. My intention is not to set you off on a guilt trip, so I apologise in advance, if I have come across, being hard on you, direct, honest and brutal with the truth to you, especially moreso in what can be construed to be, revealing unpalatable facts to you.
