Please which is the best option? going now with all the family members or the main tier 2 Visa holder going first then bringing in the family later? Will this in any way affect the application of ILR later?

Also is the health charge to be paid for just one year?

If you apply separately, it sort of complicates the ILR application because when main applicant is due for ILR the dependant wont be and then he or she with (the kids) if any needs to change the class of Visa by exiting the UK to apply for another category of visa.... That Is my understanding

And such absence must even be explained for the Tier 2 main applicant when applying for ILR by obtaining leave approval letter from your bosses before changing jobs advisably. Too much wahala....

Saddening seeing Nigerians linked to this, but could be he just pled guilty for Manslaughter rather than take chances in murder trial

Huh, I wouldn't make such a comparison.

OJ Simpson case was due to the very sloppy investigators and some who were caught being biased.


With this UK case it seems most people already found him guilty without the benefit of the doubt that he might be innocent.

Jeez! See my life for outside ooo. So na rubbish I pack full for head. Never knew this o, thought once the main applicant has ILR, it covers others too not knowing they will also have to complete their 5 years.
So does that mean they will extend their visa?
Does this also apply to a child born here?

Hello house, wake up, I want to share my testimony.
So I signed my tenancy and got the keys to my house today. And shhh... don't tell anybody this one; I also locked myself outside my house on my first day in the house. It cost me £50 to get back in and everyone I told the story says I was lucky cost it could have cost as much as £300. The locksmith didn't change the locks sha, he just slid a thick cardboard in between the door slid it up and used the cardboard to push back the lock and collected my 50 quid and I was like why didn't I think of this? come and see me pricing, the guy even said £70 if I pay with card, he only collected £50 because I paid cash. Anyway, lesson learnt, so in case u lock yourself outside one day just holla me, I will collect just £48 as a fellow nairalander.
Back to my testimony, so I've been in the UK 6 months now, came here really low on cash, as I had to apply for my visa twice following an error in my first Application.
I remember posting my challenge here and someone advised me to contact churches if they could help, I made some calls and God connected me with this family who didn't know me from Adam, they accommodated and fed me for the past 6 months taking just a token.
When I set out to look for a house about a month ago my budget was about £3000 for rent, deposit, and all those their charges. But I got my keys today spending just about £800 for rent and referencing for a 2 bedroom house in Cambridge, and man Cambridge is expensive.
I was favored and got a key worker housing, paying just 80% of the actual rent and reference fee, no deposit and no other charges.
You won't believe those referencing guys actually called my landlord in Naija, the guy first cut their call thinking they were yahoo yahoo.
To summarize my testimony, I now have my keys, not moved in yet, those guys to reconnect the gas are doing slow motion, they can't give me time they want to come, they just want me to sit at home all day waiting for them, like I don't have work, don't have their time yet, I'm still enjoying the egusi soup I am eating in my present home, I know indomie days are approaching no need to rush.
Somebody should collect offering.

Hahaha, I'm catholic, but partner is redeem. Amebo is too much. When i went to Redeem in Reading when lonely, on easter day. Pastor was blasting easter bunny tradition and calling it idolatry. Went to another and the senrenre was so much, especially after they knew i was a single doctor. Then blocking me from talking to one or two single ladies there! Wasn't interested in the overfamiliarity and unnecessary intrusion....whatsapp group, calls to check on me. etc

They can't extend Tier 2 again because the class of visa Don change to PBS dependant or so not sure about this but don't worry you will sort it out by then because rules may have even changed again

I'm not an expert on this but I believe once the visas have been issued, you all have to arrive the UK within 30days (you'll find in your visa that it expires 30 days from when it is issued).

As for BRP, I don't think you can pick up for anyone who is yet to arrive the UK. And this is how it works, You get to pick the nearest post office or address (if you settled in quickly) and have them post it to you, which is usually 10 days of your arrival.

Yeah that's true, forgot totally. Would advise them to just come within 1 month once and for all. No point going and coming back to naija.
