Very beautiful, lovely and romantic football from Lobi stars. And extremely professional victory . Best I've seen from a Nigerian club in years. |

Odunayaw:Yeah spot on. Enugu Rangers being in the top professional league for long has ensured the stadium has been kept in use. Unlike Lagos Clubs, 3SC and Kaduna United and Ranchers Bees. BTW Ranchers Bees used to have their stadium way back then. It even hosted part of the 1995 AYC. |

Icon4s:3SC has lost fans in Ibadan because of their perennial relegations. They now use the smaller Lekan Salami/Adamasingba Stadium & they've been able to utilize it a bit. Ranchers Bees just went poof, no further story. I think the only good thing about our Govt owned club custom is longevity. |

khunz:Enyimba (2016) in CAF CL & Akwa (2018) Confed cup There were tasty football brought forward then. I remember Dare Ojo's screamer against this same Mamelodi Sundowns in '16 kai! Our wahala is consistency |

Icon4s:Haba Lobi play the better football na. My only problem with them was their refusal to score a 3rd goal apart from that they were eye candy. |

BascoVanVeli:They should fare well on a better MSFC pitch in the return leg. cos to me that defence is mediocre to me. mathias positioning was good. |

Success wey dem sub and 1 min later his replacement scored? Seems we should come up with a power ranking of sorts for ex super eagles players so that we go know how to behave and comment when we wan compare number 23 vs num 203. ![]() |

Odunayaw:Gone are those days when going to play "Sooting" in Ibadan was like going to play at Nou Camp ![]() 3SC vs Rangers was our el-classico. Ibadan or Enugu would shut down that day. People Even traveled to Ibadan from Lagos to watch that clash. "Up Sooting", "Up Sooting" would be in the shout in the mouth of the Ibadan fans ![]() Gone are the days o. |

Mickael2:Bros Abiriba is blessed. The topography and spatiality of the land makes for a sweet bionomics with their wealth (mansions). The top lands, the valleys the vegetations so corresponds with the great architectural designs of the edifices to make that place look like a paradise. I wonder why they are this successful honestly. About the whole country, please remember Nnewi is still a town in Nigeria buh Abiriba is truly pulling weight. I really pity next generations of Ngwas (Icon4s dem), if u enter Aba, Abiriba boys dun buy virtually every piece of land there, even down to the villages of Ngwa. Ngwa just dey sell their lands give dem like mad. Lol why do u guys like taunting us with that isi-ukwu-ato sef? Remember our babes dey fine, little wonder u rush come carry one. Ogo m ndewo. About Uche and Kalu, those two have humility written all over them. I was so mad with Keshi when he was playing his dirty games with the brothers, especially IK. Lol ur last paragraph sha. I be easterner through and through. Born and brought up in 042(Enugu), schooled in Abia. I actually know many places in Igbo land through relatives, friends and work. Owerri like I said was a flexing zone for me back then, Umuahia and its environs na via my mum when she was working with FMC. I should know ur villa well as an isuikwuato man though last time I came was in 2016 for one Chinagorom's burial. |

Icon4s: now its only the Lord guard that shout Up Sooting anymore. The Club is trying to turn into a talent groomer/marketer but their issue is funds. but oboi any SW derbies brings full house o. Those old men no de gree o |

BascoVanVeli:Go back and re-watch the last two games Enyimba played in Aba before they played Raja. The ones they won 1-0 (late winner) and 5-1. Ie against Carra Brazaville and APR. Enyimba Attacked better than this Lobi team. I can give Lobi kudos because they beat a highly ranked team. But in terms of play those Enyimba games i mentioned were more exciting. |

ChrisKels:Abiriba people are among the most properous in Igboland. They have one of the most beautiful "Towns" in Nigeria. Just that because of their type topography they don't have good roads. Abiriba People are very good business men, they like investing in real estate and like building at home. On Abiriba taking over Aba and some other parts of Ngwa land no wahala. Sebi they are also Abians. But Ngwa people too dey try o. Obu anyi nwe Port. ![]() |

Odunayaw:You know there was also this Geopolitical/ Regional rivalry then. All the Igbos will support Rangers while the Yorubas would support Sooting. The stadiums were always jam-packed. Another SW team that pulled crowd were stationery stores. They used to play at the Onikan stadium. I remember the 1990 FA Cup final between Stores and Rangers. It ended 0-0 after 120 minutes at the national stadium Lagos. It ended in penalties and stores won. That game was shown live on NTA and everyone was really tensed. Due to my origin my parents were Rangers fans so I had no choice but to also be a Rangers Fan ![]() My mom in particular felt so bad after Rangers lost that my Dad was even consoling her She was a die-hard Rangers fan. Till today she still mistakenly called the Super Eagles "Rangers" ![]() But immediately Abia was created and then Enyimba rose me I Port to Enyimba o ![]() |

Joebie:Firstly, he is excluded not because of form but football politics. When Costa was dropped at Chelsea did anyone say his form had dropped. When Sakho did not play for near 3/4 months at Liverpool after falling out with Klopp. It didnt diminish his pedigree as soon as he arrived at Crystal Palace he effectively saved them from relegation was thier stand out player in defence. Quite remarkably he has been the stand out player in thier U23's so much so he was rated far higher than the player they bought to replace him. Despite outstanding performances he is ignored. So without prejudice there is nothing to say his form has dropped. His contract expires in the summer and they may refuse to let him go on loan or sell him. Because he refused to renew his contract. That is another dimension clubs sometimes in sheer "bad belle" refuse to play because they can not make any money on you. When they were all playing were any of them ahead of him statistically speaking or otherwise . So how in the past four months did they over take him. Finally, in conclusion the reality is that all football is speculation it's not absolute science with empirical results. |
