Scalper life is harder than u can imagine, and also can lead to high BP n quick loss of capitals. Was a harden scalper When i used to trade forex, my returns most days is within 250k and 550k,and my loss a day can be up to 1m. I watched market movement like an eagle that want to pick up her target, it pays most times and get burnt sometimes, because i make much profit daily , i have enough funds to replace lost funds when table turned. I stop trading because of my health, happiness today sadness tomorrow is not my style of living anymore, now all monies sit in TB while i watch returns flows. I will advice u to stop scalping and try to make forex a business by tradding with strategies, don't set profit target for ur self , just make the money bit by bit as the opportunities present it self, at the end your yearly profits determined if u r a looser or a winner . Also remember, every traders.. (No matter how good u r) will get burnt one day, so my advice to traders is not to trade forex, but trade with 100% discipline n always diversify ur investments, I've seen $300k best investor of 5yrs of good trades SINK entirely withing a week, my write up is not to scare anyone but make sure u have Plan B, C, D ,E, afterall life without a risk is mere existence. I stop trading since 3 yrs ago, left with high BP but something tangible

You can't. Custom indicators can only be installed on your computer platforms

You can manually calculate your pivot lines and draw them with horizontal lines. This would have to be done every week or month or all pairs you're trading until you get a new laptop.

Another way is to get the pivots already posted on websites like tradingview dot com. Their figures could vary slightly from your broker's quote so this is less accurate.

EU is pretty bullish but it's due for a correction. I took a sell at the top @ 1.15568. I bought usdchf @ 0.97301.

Trades closed.

That recent volatility pushed the trades to the finish line much quicker that I expected.

This week has been abysmal. Mental stress, Fatigue, Sleep disorder (-+6hours), My attention span is terrible.

My trade management is absolutely rubbish, and I’m not proud of myself at all.

Need to reset my sleep and wake up time, I could really use running, but it’s winter and snow everywhere.

I hope I do better next week. I can’t afford such poor trading.

The formula used in the calculation of Classic Pivot Points are:

R4 = R3 + RANGE (same as: PP + RANGE * 3)
R3 = R2 + RANGE (same as: PP + RANGE * 2)
R2 = PP + RANGE
R1 = (2 * PP) - LOW
PP = (HIGH + LOW + CLOSE) / 3
S1 = (2 * PP) - HIGH
S2 = PP - RANGE
S3 = S2 - RANGE (same as: PP - RANGE * 2)
S4 = S3 - RANGE (same as: PP - RANGE * 3)

Where R1 through R4 are Resistance levels 1 to 4, PP is the Pivot Point, S1 through S4 are support levels 1 to 4, RANGE is the High minus the Low for the given time frame (usually daily).

Alternatively you can download Trade Inceptor. It has a built in Pivot tool but it is not MT4

So before I help you calculate your lot size I would love to ask you and I need honest answer.

It apparent that there are many, many people telling you "THE" way to trade forex, with the vast majority only regurgitating what they've heard, with all the key words and tricky phrases, and in reality no more successful than a rookie trader. They weren't necessarily successful, they just wanted to appear to be knowledgeable and wise and all knowing; that they held the key to successful trading.

You want to learn from someone that is already successful, not trying to become successful like you are doing.

Take recommendations as just that. If you don't feel comfortable doing it, don't do it. What works for some may not work for others: some use indicators, some don't....there is no "right" or "wrong" way to trade if it works for you.

There are numerous ways to trade successfully, so don't listen to those that tell you otherwise. Find something you have confidence in and don't let others sway your opinion with a chart or something.

Many non-successful traders feels if they can't do it, it can't be done. That's not just forex, ego is alive and well in all traders.


$2k to $200,000 in 6 months. Just 22 Year old.
With right/ good trading plan, anything is possible, don't limit yourself.

Don't let your emotions get a hold of you. You didn't do bad going by the result I'm seeing. You only had a bad day, that's all. If it's about bad trade Management, simply go over the trade and see where you fumbled. From your narratives, it seems you had too much expectation for that new account of yours.

That's what weekends are for.

Had a poor start this week myself (silly mistakes if you actually could believe it) but ended up doing well at the end. Rather than go yaay, I would use today and tomorrow to see how I can prevent such from repeating itself and thus remove losable trades from the mix.
