It's good to be young o! Instead of rewriting Jamb, now is the time to find out what you love doing and start doing it. Make use of the tools you already have to start a business online. Some business ideas include; social media marketing (facebook, instagram, etc), social media management, blogging, freelancing, influencer marketing, video marketing, etc. There's so much you do online to earn a full time income. At least you can keep yourself busy while making money. Ivye: 3 Likes |

One needs to wise up and get educated on ways to survive even after graduation. You can learn a skill and you don't even have to leave your house. spanconnect:What is Delsu doing in that list? Delsu are not on strike moreover they should be thinking of writing first semester exams by end of January 2019 ( all things been equal). That school shouldn't vote same applies to Kwasu and UniIlorin. 1 Like |

Am bothered. Buhari's nonchalance towards striking lecturers is ghastly. It's sad to see how Mr President has made himself a confusing figure. That a man whose political stock was once solid and we all supported, would so abjectly fail to rise to people's expectations is-there's no other way to put it-a matter of profound tragedy. My fear is that we are in the season of campaigns.Oftentimes, unfortunately, campaigns are full of distractions; things that are not that important to the lives and welfare of average Nigerians, especially the youth, which is my constituency is brought to the fore.It means ,there exists the tendency for Mr President to continue to ignore the demands of the lecturers and continue to keep our friends at home. It beggars belief that @MBuhari who is being touted to have integrity can easily waste this particular currency. And he has squandered this resources, paradoxically,in pursuit of power by all means. If billions are looted to fund his campaigns, what stops Mr Integrity from reaching out to the striking workers;meet their demands and save our systems from collapse?? |

What manner of stupidity is all this? Did you all do a poll prior to embarking on the useless strike?... So, strike is something universities now unanimously embark on and disembark off at will... Shouldn't meeting your needs and grievances be the sole basis of calling off a strike? I now see why our current graduates are lowly regarded universally... How can you have competent graduates, when they are taught by incompetent and unserious lecturers? |

Angelfrost: Your post alone shows you are even worse than the Nigerian graduates you are berating. Ever heard of the adage that says even the foolish is deemed wise when they keep silent. That is exactly your case here. The modalities for declaration of an industrial action in ASUU is exactly the same as calling it off. Collation of votes by the local chapters directs the NEC on what course of action to take. Sadly, in this case. The OP manufactured lies from no where and the desperate Mods pushed it to the front page without due facts verification. |
