If it won't implicate you ,u had better mind your business. If the person is fired because u report him/her ,will you be able to bear the consequence(s)- Physical and spiritual .
hmmm... In a sane country, this would be a weird thing to say. But then, is there any vice that Nigerians don't support or try to justify? Theft, rape, violence, fraud, murder in the name of jungle justice...

No wonder we keep electing liars (who pretend to fight corruption) and thieves (who shamelessly divert public funds).

Monimekaz, you are a sample of everything that is wrong with Nigeria.

Report him o coz he is going to continue and chances are very high that he would increase the amount he was stealing. Before you know it the company would start complaining of running at a loss and might either close down or down size before you know it you would hear that the employee that has been stealing has started a big business or might have bought a car while you are unemployed. Report him, who knows you might even get a promotion for this.

And hey bro the op was asking for an opinion ..Tell him/her yours.ozkar you are one of those Nigerians who will be clamouring for change but will hide under thier beds when it is time to fight for the real change .Do you know I was sacked from my place of work because I protested against theft and impunity .The manager was just milking the company. Funny enough the owner did not even give me the chance to tell my story .He believed I was against the authority of the manager ..I fought alone and I'm happy I did .I knew the price and was ready to bear and pay it. When I gave the advise to the op,I was simply asking if she he/she has effrontery to bear the consequences just like I did .

Ask for the company's policy on anonymous tips, if it's favourable, report the thief.
Why is it so difficult for people to be honest.

If it were my own business, how will I feel if someone stole from me? Do not report him directly. Use unknown numbers and text your boss. Simple.
Better still He should send an email with a newly opened email addy from a cafe, do not use your phone or laptop.

If there have been cases of pilfering and the management is not aware, it means the audit/cash control system has loopholes.

If you don't want to report him, just insist that management improve the audit or cash control system.

I am more interested in knowing how someone pilfers regularly at work and it doesn't reflect in the books of account.

Is he an expert thief?
Or a case of poor supervision?
Lol, same way our polithiefcians pilfer regularly in office and it doesn't reflect in the book of the masses(company) and we end up appaulding them...
Am using this medium to tell the electorates out there, if after we have noticed the rot in the system, please let's do the right thing to vote a credible leader devoid of any sentiments we have in mind.

nonsense. No one cares what super story happened in your former place of work. If you actually did that and are happy you did, you wouldn't have posted the rubbish you typed on the first page.

You just shamelessly tried to guilt-trip someone into turning a blind eye to theft in the workplace. Who threatens people with physical and spiritual consequences for calling out evil?

Your kind is the cancer eating up our nation.

Join him and make your life better.
Before you make any decision ask yourself, does the management care about you.
If you die today will they take care of your family?
Do you think they the management hands are clean?
Are being paid what you deserve in the company?
Do you want to die poor.

Now look. Don't be a fool, that thief has backup.
It might turn out that his sponsor in the company will fire you for snitching so dont be a fool.

Its your job to work in the company not police it.
If the management are competent they would have already caught him.

This is serious..! Personally I do not support open confrontation. However, keeping get quiet in issues like this is gradually affecting all of us in this Nigeria already. There is a need to let the management in on it.

Check your channel of communication if the person you are to report to is trust worthy and not an accomplish, You can find a private time to relate it with him/her. If not, look for anonymous ways to get to the management before it gets discovered and it will affect you all.

not even that, if that guy gets sacked because of him, some one that is already a thief, he could form an gang after been sacked and I bet u their first operation will be at his house.

best thing is to distance him self from that person, he is not the only one that had noticed so he should stop forming FBI

the guy will be caught sooner or later

It's amusing to engage individuals like yourself with the IQ level of a mountain goat, hut unfortunately I do not suffer f00ls

You actually do not understand the comment you typed yourself showing further that my earlier suspicion was accurate

You are indeed a cretin and a frustrated one at that

You are ill equipped for adult life and are too stupid to be branded a teenager even

From today if you come to any thread and see me there , run ... You are too dumb to engage me in a mental joust

You are too stupid to insult freely for you may feel suicidal

lol. I'm referring to your subtle threat and attempt to guilt trip the op, in your first post on this thread.

I couldn't care less about your labeling your nonsense stance an opinion (duh, no one thought it a fact), your life story in your former workplace, or your obsession with the Islamic terrorist group.

Stop discouraging people from seeking the right ways to do the right thing, with your nonsense threats about physical and spiritual consequences. Stop spreading your pro-corruption cancer.
