Personal note:Funny enough I made a new year resolution never to type stories again and face reality but this voice in my head won't just let me rest, it keeps whispering crazy things into my head and urging me to write. So now I have decided to obey (So that i will not come and run mad). I swear I don't know what this story will be all about, I don't know what shape it's going to take but I have this feeling it going to be super horrific and crazy. Mind you, I am not so good with English but I will try. I will try make this write-up one of my best here on nairaland and hopefully one of the best you will ever read. Trust me. But updates drops weekly.

pls no one should quote my story just to get my attention, it's insensitive. I will complete this story by God's grace.

I dedicate this work to every crazy introvert like me who dwells in the happiness of the beautiful events inside their heads. We are not mad, we are just wonderfully crazy..

I laid on my bed till day break trying to wrap my head around what I had seen. It felt unreal but it was real. I could see the sweet boys excited all through the day as they kept smiling to all the pretty girls in class. I envied the boys and wish I had taken the chance of a life time the night before. By night fall, I was excited as I laid there on my bed in anticipation for the Sweet boys call till I fell unconscious. I woke up the next morning to the exhausted faces of the sweet boys. They looked tired like they hadn’t slept a bit through the night. I felt betrayed and challenged them for not waking me.

“Of what use is a Lollypop to a goat” Solomon replied me as he struggles to dress up for class. The boys all laughed. They got his message and so did I and it hurt seeing they must have had wonderful experiences the night before. I begged him to let me follow them the next night and he agreed. But that night, the gang failed to wake me and again I missed out of the wonderful experience.
The next morning, I could see they appeared more exhausted and noticed Benson, Ali and Kolade sleeping during lessons. In class, I would stare at Feyintola whose seat was at the front row adjacent mine giving me more chance to stare at her smooth legs, her lips, eyes, her chest. Wondering how wonderful it would be to caress them all. Few times she had caught me stare at her but smiled coyly, I felt she loved me too. So on that afternoon during break, I braced up and approached her with snacks, drink and my boyish smile.
Seated beside her was Kiki her best friend, both had their minds buried to a romance novel along the walk-way.

“Hi” I greeted.

Kiki swiftly looked up from her book with a frown as if I had disrupted her mind. “Hi, what is it?” she asked.

“I…I came to see Feyintola” I almost stammered.

Feyintola looked up and almost let out a smile on seeing me but she quickly frowned. “Why?”

I loosed it. I couldn’t remember all those romantic lines I had rehearsed, telling Feyintola how I felt about her seem difficult than I had imagined. “I…I…I have…have come to give you these” I starmmered and handed the snacks and drinks to her.

“Thank you…and is that all?” she asked expectantly.

“That’s all” I lied

As I turned and was walking away, I heard them giggling. I was sure they were making fun of me. I felt foolish. While going, the sweet boys suddenly accosted me, they looked at me suspiciously as they tried to know if I hadn’t been going around spilling their secret. I assured them I haven’t and wouldn’t do such thing. They walked away not after reminding me of the consequences if I do.

An hour past midnight the next day, I was woken by the alarm of my wrist-watch. I looked around and wasn’t surprise to see the six beds around me empty. I grabbed my flash light and sneaked out of the hostel away into the store in my pajamas. There in the store were the six of them flashing their lights on me as I appeared, I guess I scared them. I confronted them for not calling on me but they appeared too engrossed with what Solomon was about to do. I sensed they cared less about my presence but I wasn’t bothered, I had made up my mind to join in the wonderful experience. We watched silently as Solomon kept reading out the strange words from the book, he pronuced fluently and confidently this time. And as he did, the weather outside turned windy as numbing cold enveloped our bodies again. I became scared, skeptical of my earlier choice. All the boys appeared to care less as they seem eager to spill their bloods on the book. One after the other, I watched them dissolve into thin air with Solomon’s supervision. When it was my turn to go, Solomon insist I stay behind claiming it’s a must someone amongst us stay behind to watch over the book.

“But we can simply just hide the book somewhere around till we all come back” I suggested hoping I don’t stay behind.

“Sorry, it doesn’t work like that. The book must be left open till we all reappear” Solomon responded eagerly with his blood already dripping on the opened page of the book.

I was curious. “So what happens if the page is closed?”

Solomon vanished.

I felt him breeze away from the store. In my anger I sat down to watch vigilant over the book. I could hear my heart beating in the dark, quiet space of the store. Shortly, I heard a rumbling noice by the far corner of the store, I was startled. I flashed my light at the direction to reveal a black cat staring at me. It stood still as it kept it gaze on me even as I flicked my light at it. That was scary. I picked up a piece of wood to throw at it but the cat had disappeared. It was nowhere around. After about two long, silent and scary hours, the boys puffed-out one after the other all sweaty, exhausted but excited. By day break I tried to make them narrate their experiences to me but they kept avoiding it. At class that day, a handful of girls were absent from class including Feyintola and Kiki, I heard they were all admitted at the school clinic due to strange ailment. We heard it was so serious that four of the girls had to be taken for intensive treatment outside the school. Rumour quickly spread about Elizabeth’s prophecy coming to pass. That night before I slept, I thought about what had happened to the girls, perhaps they ate something poisonous. I woke up past midnight and was surprise to see the sweet boys all still asleep. I sneaked up to Solomon’s bunk, woke him up and reminded him of our activity but he simply shunned me off telling me they had earlier cancelled it.

“But why?” I whispered angrily.

“Are you daft, don’t you hear what happened to some girls?” Solomon asked sleepily.

“Yes I heard but that shouldn’t stop us. Besides, we are just going there to have a view”

“We are on solidarity break with the girls throughout this week” he said conclusively before falling back to sleep.

Solomon was right, my desperation had taken the better part of me. I withdrew to my bed and slept.

I saw myself walking through the school football pitch in the middle of the a dead night, I couldn’t remember when and how I got there but I felt I was to wait for someone. Everywhere was awefully quiet and that got me uneasy. Who am I waiting for? Who is coming?” I looked across the field and saw Feyintola running towards me from the other end of the field in her school uniform. She was desperately calling for help against a creature that was pursuing her. Behind her was something looking like a gargoyle.

“David help!” she called in distress.

At first I couldn’t tell what it was from afar but the beast like creature effortlessly caught up with her and tore her into shreds like she was made of tissue. I stood unable to move my feet as the creature lumbered towards me with deadly intent. It took the figure of a human in a pitch black scaly body, balanced on two thick muscled legs that looked much like that of a horse, on its human-like face rested two long horns. Its eyes set under heavy bony brows that glowed ghastly red, while tufts of its lank sprouted from its diseased scalp. It got to me and slowly walked around me in circles. it sniffed my body and sneered. From it fanged mouth proceeded blood-curdling shrieks accompanied by the stench of rotten meat. The monster looked right into my eyes and I could see it had come for more than a kill. While it sharp-talon paws reached out to rend and tear me, I shut tight my eyes in fear and screamed.

I jolted up from my nightmare to meet everyone in my dormitory starring at me. I must have been screaming all along.

During the morning assembly, the school principal Mrs. Wright addressed the rumor and panic going around the school, she assured every student maximum security. Kiki resumed class that week but Feyintola hadn’t, she informed me that Feyintola was amongst the four girls with critical condition. I couldn’t concentrate in class as my mind kept dwelling on my nightmare, how the beast had killed Feyintola and also came for me. Is she going to die? Am I going to die?

Honestly, it is creatures like u online that discourages me from posting. First, I told u never to quote my story which u did (pls delete it). Secondly, u kept saying u ar a movie director which i'm sure u ar not (U ar fake). Thirdly, u ar only waiting for me to complet the story before u hijack it to urself abi? (u sell it to other people)
If u need brainbursting and wonderful movie scripts why not email me directly with prove and stop all these rabbish.

Presentation matters uncle. The way you presented it was like you were merely waiting for him to finish the story before hijacking it truly. You used 'I'even if you would be the producer, it's his story, so you have to carry him along. 'we' would have been more proper or 'You and I.' So even if you are original like you claim, you went about it the wrong way.
And please treat business like business. Send him a mail or chat with him on a more private app. Your temperament and manner of talking sure won't earn you many client.
