Is Battle Royale Threatening Single Player Campaign Mode? by LucemFerre: 9:57pm On Jan 11, 2019 |
I just read that RDR2 has a battle royale mode also and more and more battle royale games are coming out for different platforms... Yes including mobile, aamf, especially mobile. Let's all face it. Costumes don't give any additional advantage like in RPG's but, everybody wants their character to look cool. Nobody wants their character to wear pant/boxers and bra/vest for the rest of the game. (plus other features) That's where microtransactions come in. With companies making a reasonable amount of profit in battle royales, plus the hugely significant profit gained by the risk taken with Blops IIII, I'm afraid companies may shift their attention to BR. My fears: If that happens, Nigerian gamers are fvcked. Data na like food and e no even good. That's why most of us just play cracked games' campaign, clean mouth... Onto the next. It's kind of a shame that ntel (our own home-based network) is more expensive to own than other foreign networks. Smfh Our own Glo kuma na apology. Heavy data charity but, you won't get to use it. Hmm... Nothing really works in this godforsaken country (no offence) Anyways, back to the matter... Thoughts? 1 Like

Lool Data is no joke in this country. Without However, online gaming is where the fun is. PUBG, after almost a year is still hot but campaign games tend to bore you after you're done with it the first time. Also, BR is really nice, it gives everyone a fair chance, regardless of if you spend or do not spend in the game. 3 Likes 1 Share |

Psychodavidovic: True talk... let me begin saving for my own 1st party internet installment. Ain't going through no third party. Wish I could provide internet service for like 5k/month unlimited with like 30-50mb/s speed Make i run all these thieves out of business 1 Like |

It might threaten, but they're still people who prefer the single player experience. Plus, internet being a big issue in Naija, SP eliminates that. Sony with their exclusive first party titles remind us that SP games thrive. |

Hmm... Amen! All roads keep leading back to PS. I'm gonna have to get a PS eventually. (rubs chin) |

I swear this country is hopeless. Even the best networks have terrible latency. The best latency I've seen is 129 on Airtel 4G and I have tried everything. Swift, Etisalat, MTN and spectranet...I didn't try Glo tho no need for that |
Re: Is Battle Royale Threatening Single Player Campaign Mode? by blazerinno(m): 4:35pm On Jan 12, 2019 |
LucemFerre:Abeg work on latency too... My swift gives me up to 4mb/s download speeds but latency is still like 200ms to 250... Bad for online gaming |

Lol... Bros abeg na just wishful thinking for now o Amen sha No mind this country. If I talk now people go talk say there are more pressing issues so make I keep quiet. |

LucemFerre: E just be like say Nigeria no dey exist to them. Battle royale is simply amazing. It's teaches patience; knowing that you have only one life will automatically put you into survival mode. Only fight when you absolutely need to. 1 Like |

I gotta say. I kinda put myself in the shoes of soldiers... No second chances. Some scary sh!t to make one think. (damn it, I'm a freak) Anyways, At least in BR you get to see the world through your killers' eyes after you die. And the way you die now isn't the way you'd die next so, there's no coming back to amend your mistakes. And wow, the people playing BR on mobile dey try abeg. That thing is as uncomfortable af. No wonder you see Players running in circles like they're drunk. Nothing beats the good ol' keyboard and mouse Anyways... At all at all na winch. Its still enjoyable for mobile users. Kinda addictively entertaining |

Re: Is Battle Royale Threatening Single Player Campaign Mode? by Psychodavidovic(m): 5:59pm On Jan 13, 2019 |
LucemFerre: Not necessarily how good or how bad. It just states how long it takes for an action you take in game to register/deliver to the server. |

LucemFerre: Looool anything above 150ms is not recommended, unless you're playing against only your fellow Nigerians. If not, you can still play, but you'll be at a slight disadvantage. If you play with people abroad with 300+ms then it's almost the same as playing against someone with a speed hack; one moment there are there and the next they are not - your network is registering their location at a 300 milliseconds interval and trust me, a lot can happen within that time frame. |

Yea yea yea... Sometimes players just appear and disappear before me. There was a time I got killed like 5secs and some strolls before I realised |
