hello guys!!!

Please i need clarifications and information on my circumstance.
I got a visa grant (subclass 500) for myself but my husband and child was refused on the basis that he does not meet the genuine temporary entrant criteria and incorrect paperwork submitted. my question goes thus:

1. do they (hubby and child) need to do another biometric capturing while re-applying? - the last capturing that lead to refusal was not up to 6months

2. if they are to do another capturing, can the capturing be done before lodging another application?

3. in showing evidence of GTE, how many months (minimum) can the my hubby statement of account be?

4. what do they mean by incorrect paperwork submitted during the last application?

5. Do we need to fill another statement of purpose (SOP) for re-applying

6. Do my sponsors stated in the initial application need to give a recent bank statement again?

7. What other thing can he use to proof that his stay in Australia will be temporal aside from job, business, family ties and property owned?

Thank you as i await your response. For all awaiting visa grant, success is all i wish you.

Sorry about your hubby and child refusal
If I may ask, did you include your marriage certificates, affidavits of your change of name and newspaper publication to the application?
Also did you include your child's birth certificate?

To the best of my knowledge there is a specific amount that can be used for your child and husband as financial capacity.
Outside your tuition fee and living expenses as the principal applicant, how much did you declare as financial capacity for the three of you?

As regards biometrics, they will need to do another if they want to reapply, but the health declaration is still valid since its not up to 12 months. This is normally done after the application has been submitted online.

Yes you will need to submit another sop for them since they can only join you now as subsequent entrants.

Other gurus in the house can please add to this.

@ Sparkle123,

Thanks for responding. All evidence of relationship was provided. Although i was on scholarship which cover my tuition fee, living expenses and oshc, we still presented financial sponsors statement worth more than 40,000AUD but my hubby statement of account was not part of sponsors.

OTHER GURUS IN THE HOUSE, PLS HELP!!!

Please what course and school did you apply that they haven't gotten back to you since october?
IamNegan:

Have you exhausted the maximum number of documents that can be attached?... If not, I don't think you should have any issue.

Also, did you declare the refusal or they found out themselves?
I applied October..no news at all....I don lose hope

Please I just got my coe from Griffith university to do my master's. Before they sent me coe I sent them my evidence of financial capacity. No I checked the documents i need to submit for visa and financial capacity is not included. Does this mean that the immigration officers won't be considering this since Griffith has done it? I'm really not confident with my financial capacity. My maternal uncle with different Sur name is my sponsor.

It does not matter if you share same surname or not....you have to explain it clearly in your sop and state the reason he is sponsoring you.

Can someone share or enlighten us how an inflow and outflow should look?

I asked because my Account would have inflows of about 500k weekly and I pay out same, more or fairly lesser. I do business with my cash hence no time for idle funds.

is it that I should maintain idle funds in advance of like 6 months or how?

Guys help clarify.

thanks for the reply. Students of some certain university are not requested to submit evidence of financial capacity, school like Macquarie university and Griffith university. Does it mean that they are not checked for financial capacity by the immigration officer?

My 1st degree is agricultural economics
I want to study MBA for masters
Your 4m will barely be sufficient for just a semester, DIBP will treat your Visa application independently without any regard to your brothers in Australia and will advise you to try another course because MBA will not lead you to any where aside two years post study work Visa besides you can actually get a PR with your 1st degree if and only if you can channel all your energy and resources into it.
