Fall 2019 is still far and they should be concentrating on Spring 2019.

Secondly, I can safely say you are still under consideration if your academic profile is very good.

Admission for Fall should be on till June (based on previous timetables). Relax your mind till start of February.

What about an undergraduate degree?
How feasible is it to get a second undergraduate degree at the age of 24 in the US?

In my opinion, 24 is fair..

You'll just need to explain at the visa interview what you habe been doing after you graduated from secondary school.

The answer is pretty straight forward.

I went for a first degree.
And I want a second one in a different field.
Engineering to be precise.

Ask the question here please.
I am quite busy these days, I hardly come online. The earlier you ask, the faster I'll attend to your queries.

Want to know more about this, and about the internship/job search.
What do you do differently to get invites?
Basically, your job hunting experience.

Your question about the NSBE program is tooooo generic, be more specific.
Most of the info about the program is available online.

For job search, I stopped searching since May 2018 after my second semester since they were using me to play playstati0n. angry
I wan use another angle wunjur these companies.

I am concentrating on my graduation - this is my final semester. Later, we will solve the job issue.

If anyone has $10k you are not using, please borrow me. cry

How about your all-paid-expense job interview trip to California? Did you not hear back from them too?

I knew it would be really competitive, but I also knew you were equal to the task. Making the interview stage alone is something to be proud of, because not just anybody gets that.

Hello Macky,

How's life at your end?

I just got admitted into the MS Mech & Manufacturing Engrg program at Texas State University, San Marcos for fall 2019. I'm patiently waiting and praying for a positive decision on the graduate college scholarship application I made too. Hopefully by March e go click.

How do u rate the school bro? Couldn't find many naija folks there via LinkedIn to ask a few questions. My mind dey Texas sha. I'm still working on my SoP for apps to Wichita State & UT - San Antonio.

Cheers baba!

My opinion -
School rating and cgpa at graduation doesn't mean much when it comes to job search as far as yours is Abet accredited, this is from my experience.

No employer has bothered to ask me where I school, most important thing is to get a Yankee degree and show you can be useful to them.

If they give you adequate finding, please go there.

In another news, you can always transfer schools and change programs if you wish.

Get admitted, get funded, graduate with a sensible GPA, go convert your GPA to dollars. Every other thing is secondary in my opinion.
