If okorocha had come in and absolutely did nothing in owerri like other states in the country, orlu or okigwe will never have been complaining about anything. So, your examples are all false.

Nearly any development infrastructure you find in Asaba is found in Warri.

If a gov neglects Warri, the oil producing zone to build only in Asaba, heaven may fall in Delta state.
Orlu zone has a most docile citizenry in Nigeria, that's why the zone which makes Imo an oil producing state is abandoned by state government.


In Anambra, no governor can contemplate what is happening in Imo state, without getting impeached. Of course, the senatorial zones of Anambra state get commensurate attention from every governor.

You can never justify using the resources meant for development of an entire state to build what suits you in just one space in the state - Owerri.

Evan Enwerem from Owerri blindly established IMSU in a crumbling school building in Owerri, as there were Futo, Alvan and Nekede Polytechnic in Owerri; whereas there was a better university facility to locate IMSU then in Orlu at the closed Orlu campus of Alvan Ikoku.

By any argument, IMSU is not supposed to be in Owerri zone..

Because of Enwerem's clannishness, and ndoro ndoro struggle for permanent site for IMSU, Imo State remains the only state in Nigeria which couldn't develop and build a state university after about 22 years the university was established.

Can this Omuma IMSU be open before May 29?Hopefully, Mbaise petition writers and professional protesters shall not rise again like when Okorocha govt wanted to locate IMSU in Ideato.

Main Owerri people wouldn't mind IMSU be taken out of Owerri, but Mbaise, no.

Mbaise public servants are mostly behind location of 6 tertiary education institutions in Imo state in Owerri, while Orlu and Okigwe have nothing.

Anyway, Okorocha govt seems to have built a new campus of IMSU in Mbaise to calm them.

Awomamma is the last community in Orlu zone bordering Owerri along Onitsha-Owerri road.

Such University being built by people of Orlu diocese in Awomamma should have been positioned best near the central area of Orlu diocese to benefit all in the diocese.

You will agree with me that given the short distance from Awomamma to Owerri, on the expressway, Owerri communities must benefit more than the communities in Orlu diocese. More of the students and staff shall live in Owerri

The many universities and other tertiary education institutions in Owerri are what led to the rapid development of Owerri area, a million miles today more than Orlu area.


But why did you earlier write that it was IMSU Campus being built by Okorocha govt in Omuma? Omuma is near Awomamma.
