A brief footage of Owerri around Orji and Okigwe road. Also featured briefly is the compound of the palace of Eze Imo.

Cars/buses parked indiscriminately and sands/scattered debris on roadsides smear a city. The government can generate quite a good sum from penalities from offenders, you know. The city is catching up, but more needs to be done to promote orderliness, ambience and sanity. I support a green city, too.

The road with sands that led to flyover is under construction. Other ones as you can see is spotless.

At least let the finishings look somewhat like the picture below (Nigeria standard), not all the open drainage and metal decorations that made the good effort look like a sculpture's garage.

[Gov Okorocha, Build us Owerri to a Mega City, in future, other governors may attend to Orlu and Okigwe].
Okorocha agreed.
The most parochial people behind this fraudulent advice brought about gov Okorocha's present pitiable political situation.
Today, scores of streets of Orlu look like in war days. Okorocha and his advisers maligned even existing govt infrastructures in Orlu.
They now celebrate Owerri boulevards.
In 1976 when Imo state was created, there were little differences in the levels of urbanization between Owerri and Orlu.
Politics is a game of numbers.
Okorocha scored the highest number of votes in Orlu urban LGA in 2011, with about 10,000 votes more than the second highest LGA vote giver to Okorocha.

same with me, but don’t have that time to post it on YouTube. It’s over an hour video. I covered all of new Owerri, world bank, Amakoiah/ Orlu road, egbeadan road, ikenegu/Aladinma, urrata, egbu, nekede/ihiagwa wethedral, old road, new market, and the whole of new Owerri. I intentionally took my time to drive round Owerri and it was worth it. If not for some places with bad roads

I counted over 20 new magnificent hotels under construction and smaller ones springing up in Owerri. Like it’s so crazy mehn. All Owerri needs now is good road and tourist attractions.

guy, cut the video into 7mins and different parts so that one can easily view them in higher video quality, especially people who register small data plans. For me now, I can't view a video that long on YouTube but, I can download it in parts with higher quality from higher 3gp to mp4.

Okorocha through his boys now says gov Uche Nwosu shall complete the building of Orlu Stadium started in 2013, started before Okigwe's.
Rochas staged a football match last week at the completed Okigwe Stadium.
Orlu is rotten, govt projects in Orlu forced to rot, many streets in Orlu scrapped by Rochas contractors since 2012.
They show us Rochas' ten lane streets of Owerri to taunt angry people in Orlu.
Rochas says he is contesting to represent Orlu zone in the Senate.
The game of Rochas VS Orlu intensifying.

Not all the new roads and why are they still constructing open drainage, why plastic palm tree when we are in a tropical rainforest climate zones. The money they are using in constructing the ugly metal arches can buy 2000 pine trees.

I’m not roundly convinced with what I saw; that of Enugu was better...

The drainages are covered afterwards. Be observant and you will notice. Only Okorocha is building covered drainages while others cut out part of the road as walkways leaving the drainages open. Also notice that trees have already been planted though dry as a result of harmattan.
