Your mind and your culture. Try to understand that other people perceive things differently due to their own cultures that give bigger roles to women than yours. For example in my own village women own lands and build houses, it's accepted, do you see that our cultures are different and so people accustomed to it will think differently?

Its a cultural thing, where I come from everyone is equal,male or female can represent the family, Nobody will persecute you for having females only, no wicked elder can come and chase the wife away after the death of the spouse simply because she has no male child, first born is first born theres really nothing like first son brouhaha where the son will claim all ahead of his elder sisters simply because he's male.

As a female you can inherit from your father, your mother and your husband in my place even build your own personal house its allowed.

Until this ' IF you never born boy you never start' mentality is wiped off, statements like this would spring up every now and then
