Relax bro!!

U have been quite antagonistic on the thread.

The fact that you dont approve a person's approach to achieving objectives does not give u the right to condemn it entirely.

I believe people should do what works for them generally.

Take a chill pill bro.

God bless.

I am okay with every other thing you said but what was the essence of this statement:
"You have been quite antagonistic on this thread"

This is how they start when they want to gather other people against you. My friend, where have I been antagonistic earlier on? Tell me.

Exercise in futility. You dont need supernatural power to pass an exam. Pagans have passed IELTS. Africans and God ish. A white man will look for a practical approach to a solution. We Africans will look for the God approach.

One last thing, people dont do all-night prayers and night vigils in Canada. If they solved all their problems with prayers in Canada, I don't think we would all be aspiring to go there.

You don't trample on people when they're down. Show emphathy.

I should show empathy by telling them that the solution for their IELTS is all-night prayers?
I simply told them the damn hard truth. If I had seen one who is really down, and really needs advice, I would definitely chip in one or two advices such as changing method of preparation for IELTS, etc, but when I see one who is calling out for night prayers as a remedy to IELTS failures, it's a no for me. Nor vex.

One other thing. Tomorrow Saturday is exam day for some people. Please and please, as a test-taker, the last thing you want to do on the eve of your exam day is to stay up in the night praying, when you should be relaxed, and sleeping, so as to be refreshed for tomorrow. Just a word of advice though.

Hi Distinct777,
I sent you a PM/ mail concerning oau transcript/ICES.
Thank you so much

Distinct777:
Please has anyone been able to apply for ICES ECA recently?
The apply and log in buttons seem to have disappeared from their site.

Also, among the documents required from the client is coloured copy of transcripts.shouldnt the one sent by the school directly to them suffice?

Also I didn't incluse my current job in my profile which i had just resumed in october. this is because i already have the required work experience i need plus the job role are not very similar. Is there a need to include my current job?

I look forward to your responses

The innocent ones will just read "You have been quite antagonistic" and begin to do your bidding. Clap for yourself if this eventually spills into a war, cos it seems that is what you want, implicitly.

So sorry bro. I can feel your pain. But you can make it again. I can feel it. There was a huge upgrade from your first to second attempt. Your third will be better. Practise more of writing. Also you may need to do more of exam-condition kind of practice. Do all LWRS at a go multiple times. It will increase your stamina and freshness during writing, so you can think properly and write better. Give writing samples to people who got above 7 to scrutinize and correct you. You seem okay, for me. You are half-way in Canada. With intensive practice you should be able to do your next IELTS in 6 weeks. Also, a positive and confident mindset helps. Bounce into the hall like a conqueror. It always works for me, especially after I know I have prepared very hard.

This DOES NOT look like one who tramples on people when they are down.
Bro, you actually make helpful contributions and shouldn't be deterred.

I was waiting for someone else to say this. Its fascinating to see how religious most people on this thread are. If religion was indeed the solution to our problems, why don't we all stay back and pray for Nigeria? Why run to a country that practically has a majority agnostic population with no religious belief whatsoever?

We are not actually religious but claim so when in difficulty.

That doesn't mean they do not respect other peoples religious beliefs. Speaking about Canadians.

Africans and by extension Nigerians has its own peculiarities. The white people don't believe in prayers and it works for them. We believe in praying our way thru our problems and it has worked, still working and will continue to work.

However, prayer without work is nothing. Put in the work, pray and God will see you thru.

it is very senseless to attribute the little conversations that happen here to NIGERIAN GRADUATES.

I believe you are mature enough, and should in case you want to generalize by making your conclusion with NIGERIAN GRADUATES, a study of 1 person out of the millions of graduates we have in Nigeria only confirms that you are a terrible Nigerian graduate.

Thank you for your kind offer to help. I recently decided to embark on this express entry journey. Its like a light switch came on in my head and I'm wondering why I did not try this since about 2 years ago. So I have been reading and scouring the internet on the steps and procedures. I now sleep on this thread cheesy It's the only reason Nairaland is still meaningful to me.

My strategy is to apply for my ECA latest by end of January via IQAS (I am a lawyer) my intendedspouse will also evaluate via IQAS (she's a lawyer too). We hope to get married in May (which I hope will coincide with the outcome of our assessment) after which we will decide whether one or both of us will write IELTS and we hope that every other thing will move from there.

Query: Is there anything you would want us to consider at this time?
I understand that my IQAS reference number has to be on my transcript, I am a bit worried about how to ensure that, seeing that I am not in charge on the process. Should I include it as part of IQAS' address when providing my school with the address to which the transcript would be dispatched? What would you advise?

Thanks.

I used ICES, and there was provision for reference number on the downloaded transcript request form; which was enclosed in the parcel alongside my official transcript sent to them. IQAS may have such provision too. Else do as earlier advised on the thread.
