Friend01:Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Religion is very easy and whoever overburdens himself in his religion will not be able to continue in that way. So you should not be extremists, but try to be near to perfection and receive the good tidings that you will be rewarded; and gain strength by worshipping in the mornings, the afternoons, and during the last hours of the nights." (See Fath-ul-Bari, Page 102, Vol 1). : Sahih al-Bukhari 39 In-book reference : Book 2, Hadith 32 |

iPopAlomo:THIS PARTICULAR HADITH TAUGHT ME ALOT OF LESSONS; NO MATTER HOW HOLY YOU THINK YOU ARE, OR TRYING TO BE, YOU CAN NEVER REACH THE LEVEL OF THE PROPHET (SAW) OR THE COMPANIONS, OR EVEN THE 1ST AND 2ND GENERATIONS AFTER THE COMPANIONS, SO WHY THE BLOODY STRESS?? JUST TRY TO BE NEAR PERFECTION, PRAY YOU DAILY PRAYERS, AND HOPE FOR THE BEST.... MAY ALLAH ASSIST US PS: THIS HADITH HAS BEEN DECLARED AUTHENTIC BY SHEIKH AL-ALBANI |

Lagusta:Lol, Shaykh Albaani declaring a hadeeth in SAHIH AL-BUKHAARI authentic! Interesting!! Anyway, religion being easy does not mean going to parties, committing fornication and some other evil acts. So why have you brought the hadeeth to defend these acts? Brother, we live in this life for at most 200years, the hereafter is eternity, so why because of this life spoil your hereafter? It really baffles me, religion has not said you shouldn't enjoy life, it only restricts the kind of enjoyment. The prophet said "the life is a prison for the believer and Paradise for the disbeliever", if this hadeeth points to anything, it points to what will make you say " you are making religion difficult ", whereas, what you see as difficult isn't difficult at all. You said you don't have religious people as friend, whearas the prophet said " A man is upon the religion of his friend, so he should look closely whom he befriends " He also says: "Souls are like soldiers packed together, if they have things in common they will be together and if they have nothing in common they will be separate from each other" Reflect seriously on what I've said, may Allaah bless and guide you with the truth. May Allaah let us see truth as truth and allow us follow it, may he let us see falsehood as falsehood and allow us go far from it. |
