Onyekuru is joint second highest goals scorer in the Super league behind Diagne, the run away leader. Buh the most interesting thing is that, he has scored 7goals in Galatasaray's last 10 matches and overall 9 in the 15 matches he has played for Gala since joining them on loan

Onyekuru is quality just that it seem Rohr doesn't fancy him. Onyekuru is an explosive forward with bags of tricks but the emergence of chukwueze have made competition for a place in the team stiffer for him. I won't be surprise if he doesn't make the AFCON team. He is one player that I believe will a big hit in the super eagles if given a chnace

ChrisKels:
So where are those guys that have been mocking me bkus my boy had some rough patches, which wasnt even his fault, rather that of Terim, the coach? grin Onyekuru is a handful on the left wing buh Fatih Terim kept playing him outta position to accommodate that headless player from Cape Verd, Rodriguez abi wetin be him name sef. Some even had to go as far as his Champions league short comings, just to prove him a bad player grin

Forgiveness and co oya ooo grin grin

He doesn't play same position as Chuks, primarily. While Chuks operates from the right, Onyekuru operates from the left. Musa isnt good as a winger, he does better as a forward, especially when paired with another striker. To me, the only player who is kinda destined to miss out is Moses Simon, he's been warming Levante bench as though his life depended on it, and has fallen down the pecking order in the national team.

Rohr must fancy am by force this time around. Mind you,Rohr irkingly enough plays him on the right too.

On a day when Tbaba's Arsenal pushed us aside like amatures,Onyekuru's hattrick atleast brought some respite. #GiantStrides #TopQuality

Watching the game between Roma & Torino, Ola's concentration and shoddiness in the box is awfully annoying. Torino behind 1:0.

I don't know how this guy can be developed more offensively, his defensive side is so poor.

If Chukwueze plays on the right wing, Samuel Kalu(Rohr's boy) will be transfered to the left wing to compete with Musa

The only way Onyekuru can get a look-in is if Chukwueze is not in the picture

I beg to disagree.. We haven't seen enough of Chuks in the GWG to conclude that Rohr will hand him the RW automatically...

Kalu still remains first choice in that role while Henry will battle Musa for the left... That's if Iwobi continues at AMF ..

Quite disappointing Ojo cant win a starting shirt at lowly Reims, despite his pedigree

Bros it is not pinned down that any winger will only start in a particular flank. Whether he plays frm d right or left Rohr prefers Kalu and Musa for now while chukwueze has caught the eyes as well as a possible super sub from bench due to his sudden rise. Onyekuru have a big battle in in hands prior to afcon 2019

Tiago Ilori and Ovie Ejaria both started. However Aluko came on from the bench on the 66th and scored Reading’s consolation goal.

Modified
Ovie provided the assist.

Yea he has a fight in his hands buh it is preposterous playing ur players in the positions they would be less prolific, especially when u have as many options.

No, I'm speaking as a backdrop to the argument from some people that Chukwueze should be included in the Afcon squad ahead of the U-20

My argument is If Chukwueze doesn't make the Afcon first eleven, it would be a waste of time and talent

If he makes the first eleven it would be to the detriment of talented wingers like Onyekuru

Now I get u ..
But making the AFCON team doesn't guarantee him a spot in the starting eleven. and not being in the starting eleven doesn't mean he won't play at all...

The U-20 tournament running simultaneously with the AFCON makes it problematic

He has to be choosen one or the other, if he should not play at the U-20 it should be for something serious than sitting at the bench at Afcon

Keep in mind Villarreal's current position in the league. There is every likely hood that the the last two games of the season will determine whether they will remain in the Laliga top flight or not. Cos even if at that point they are 6points above relegation they will want to win the last 2 games to avoid any slips.

Now if Villarreal can release Chukwueze even understand such circumstance it only tells us something: that " he is not as important to the team as we term it to be".
i totally agreed sir.

Just as uv also agreed that even with a poor team, Chuks already has a better stat than Rooney had, playing for a great team grin grin

We all know how hard it is to garner such stats when ur team is so poor that they do more defending than attacking in a game grin grin

If na that one go look at the stats of some players in the NPFL grin and compare them with those of Rooney. Sebi poor team na poor team grin
