Lobi lost to ASEC. That was the only chance they really had to secure an away result. Nigerian clubs and their away form sef. 1 Like 1 Share |

Earthquake1: Asec Mimosa of today is not like the Asec Mimosa of yester years. Wydad and Sundowns are tougher opponents. If they cannot get at least a draw against Asec in Abidjan what then are their chances when they visit Sundowns and Wydad? Infact that Wydad game away is already a lose. We just pray the result is not embarrassing. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 7:59am On Jan 20, 2019 |
Odunayaw: Wydad lost to Sundowns. I expected Sundowns to win that game cos they are a good side not withstanding the defeat they suffered to Lobi. |

BascoVanVeli:What of away draws? If u can't win away at least share the spoils. That game in Abidjan on paper was Lobi's least difficult away game. God help them when they visit Wydad and Sundowns. |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 8:10am On Jan 20, 2019 |
Odunayaw: The penalty. Not that it was even a late one. About 38 minutes into the game. I would have said they were at the verge of getting a draw. |

Icon4s: When the group stage was drawn, Lobi was the least team in that group You should not be expecting miracles |

Icon4s: U know Enyimba got trashed 3 nil when they went to Ivory coast last year and could only get a 1-0 win at home |

Super falcons take a 1-0 lead over Romania. |

BascoVanVeli: But Enyimba still got an away win. Wait till Lobi go to Wydad. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 9:21am On Jan 20, 2019 |
Earthquake1: Bascovanveli, besides we are not talking Enyimba here. It is Lobi. I have already highlighted that fact that all Nigerian local teams have terrible away records. Enyimba inclusive. I am not just happy with the performances of our clubs on the continent. If u are satisfied that is u. U have the right to. And so have I. |

Icon4s: Yea on the 5th match day of the group stage. The 3-0 came around the second match day but i didn't hear anything like this from u then. |

Icon4s: Well then that would be the first time in history that u have included Enyimba with the rest of NPFL teams. U and I both know u were taking a shot but if u want to feign ignorance now wat can i do. But u didn't have ur highlighter when Enyimba was getting beat away from home in the continent. Enugu Rangers have not yet lost away from home in the Confed Cup yet u are saying all Nigerian clubs have terrible away records. |

BascoVanVeli: Of course I condemned the loss. I don't know if u can recall my statement on terrible defending by our local teams. I can see you are satisfied with the Lobi lose. |

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by Icon4s(m): 9:36am On Jan 20, 2019 |
BascoVanVeli: Did you not read the comments I made about Enyimba not winning any North African team away in the history of their Champions league Campaign? I even went further to state the results they got even during their Golden era. Na you know wetin u dey defend. NIGERIAN CLUBS HAVE TERRIBLE AWAY RECORDS. That is a known fact. Rangers not losing any away game this Campaign doesn't change that. These Continental competitions didn't start this year. |
