So, I have been following this thread as a guest but decided to share my timeline even though I am an inland (CEC) applicant and there's no particular thread for us; I know some of us (CEC applicants) lurk around here just to compare and contrast plus canadavisa forum isn't really my thing.

Congratulations.

Relax bro!!

U have been quite antagonistic on the thread.

The fact that you dont approve a person's approach to achieving objectives does not give u the right to condemn it entirely.

I believe people should do what works for them generally.

Take a chill pill bro.

God bless.

Honestly bro, you're making your point too, in fact a good one at that. But, he who has seen the wonder of prayers will agree that even on this journey, prayer come first & last.
I resolved to praying more than I studied after multiple IELTS attempts and it did worked. Because I simply don't know what else to read that I haven't done.

Or how do you judge someone who has been performing so well during practices but still falls short 0.5 in the real exam? I relate more with this set of people lately and in this case, the only encouragement I could give them is to of course study BUT pray more. And sincerely, some has narrated wonderful testimonies already.

Again, I completely agree that many of our problems "Nationally" could have been better resolved by being practical and not our acclaimed religious sagacity, but I maintain that on this IELTS journey; prayer is importanter.

johnnybravo1990:

I should show empathy by telling them that the solution for their IELTS is all-night prayers?
I simply told them the damn hard truth. If I had seen one who is really down, and really needs advice, I would definitely chip in one or two advices such as changing method of preparation for IELTS, etc, but when I see one who is calling out for night prayers as a remedy to IELTS failures, it's a no for me. Nor vex.

*Edited*
One other thing. Tomorrow Saturday is exam day for some people. Please and please, as a test-taker, the last thing you want to do on the eve of your exam day is to stay up in the night praying, when you should be relaxed, and sleeping, so as to be refreshed for tomorrow. Just a word of advice though.

Good morning sirs and madams
I am doing evaluation with IQAS. Please, is it advisable to send my physical application package to my school so that it can be sent along with my transcript, thereby saving costs. Will it raise any red flags. Anyone done this before? Thanks in advance.
I don't think there's anything wrong with this as long your transcript is put in a separate envelope from your other documents before they are all packaged into the postal envelope. I recall one of the pioneers of this thread did the same thing; Iphie25 you can read her posts on Part 1.

So you're saying God was holding your final 0.5 hostage despite your efforts and practice ? Or was it the devil who decided to seize your last 0.5 because he has a personal vendetta with you but he's somehow OK with everybody else?

Sincere appreciation to everyone contributing immensely on this topic, you guys are really wonderful.

I have been on the fence for a while if I should go for the Express entry or not, but seeing all the success stories, tenacity and willingness to help of people on the thread from part 1-6, I have decided to go for it head-on.

My only weakness is that I have a NOC skill level C (customer service) for the job I do full-time, which is not eligible for Express entry......... Now, I have a catering business on the side which I am into as a baker NOC skill level B eligible for EE.
My question is this; how can I use the eligible occupation as I have not registered the business nor do I have any documents showing proof of ownership.
Thanks.
We are in the same shoes, depending on what you did during your NYSC, you can use them experience. That’s what I am using anyway.

Happy Sunday all. I am the PA in my family application. Our POF will be provided by spouse. Because of this we have decided to provide letter of employment for him in order to avoid ADR later on. Now my questions are:

1. Must the letter be in CIC format? What if the job description isn't included? Will that pose a problem?

2. On another matter, my FD certificate shows an address in which I lived in more than 10years ago. Should I go to the bank to change the address to my current address? Or leave as it is? Thank you.

It's a really tough job trying to read through lots of junks on this thread just to get one or two posts containing any useful information. All the religious hypocrites are gathered here. Fornicators, thieves, experts in exam malpractices, those who borrowed funds for use as PoF, altered their date of birth and other rule breakers all coming here to form religious, barely able to write a sentence without bringing God's name to it. Shame on you.

You are probably right but we r all here for one reason, our PPR,.Since we a multiethnic, multi religious country,so are we on this forum.prayer works for some and for others they don't need prayers but we can be accommodating of the next person. Let there be peace and love....k

I feel No.1 will further complicate the application. If the POF is in his account, all he needs do is print a statement of account and write a letter that you have full access to the fund. He may notarize the letter. Alternatively, he could transfer the money to your account and you accompany the transaction with an LOE. Job reference letter and employment letter usually have no connection with POF.

2. If I were you, I would leave the address that way. But if it's something they can quickly change, go ahead and change it. It will make you sleep better. I think the bank just needs ID and utility bills bearing the current address.

I would say go with option 1. Let the school of nursing principal give you a reference letter on their letter head. The dates of employment start and end should match your nysc dates (start and end as in your discharge certificate). When you fill the name of employer in your EE form, fill Name of nursing school, Ministry of health just to be on the safe side. Your account statement should be able to show proof of salary payment. As for NOC I would say the one that says College/vocational but read through both and decide which best fits your job duties at the time.
Thank you, but I think there is another problem, my discharge certificate says 24th November, 2016 to 24th October 2017. But due to the stream 1&2 process, I was in stream 2 and didn’t go to camp until January 24th and we passed out in December 2017. So due to this, I got my first payment in February which as we all know is by cash. So my Nysc bank statement reads March till December when we got the double payments for December and January. So also my ministry of health allowance started from March. How do I explain this as my bank statement doesn’t correlate with the dates on my discharge certificate? Please provide a email address where I can reach you, please I would appreciate that. Thanks

Well, I clearly don't believe in prayer. How about you try some rationality instead? If my interpretation/understanding is wrong, why don't you tell me what you meant? I am genuinely curious.

Edit: Maybe I seemed confrontational in my first post. I didn't mean to be. But if you imply that there is anything wrong with me that requires "deliverance" again, I will assume you want to get personal and respond in kind.

Hiya all,
May be the prayer we actually need on Writing is correcting each other. Nobody should feel bad, but it could save money and time.

I will like, I will like...
one of my friend..
I need assistant..
I hard you right..
It is a precedence you are setting...
I belief you...
It is a criteria...
Etc

I want to believe contents: reasoning, ideas and word counts are almost always OK but lack of appropriate use of words, plurals and phrases etc fails us.

What do you think? Or it should be taken to ielts thread. We need practical solutions!
You have a great point here. Although it should also be said that most people become conscious of these things during the exam. The way we write here might not be a true reflection of how we write during the exam

If your husband is transferring the funds to you, do a gift deed. No need for letter of employment.

On FD matter, really shouldn't be problematic. But hey, it cost nothing to change your address. One less thing to worry about after AOR grin

1. If it's up to me, I'd say forget the letter. But to answer your question, no it must not be in CIC format since it's not one of the requirements.

2. I don't think this is a problem. You can leave it as it is or change it as your spirit leads
