For the third consecutive match day, an away win has been recorded in the NPFL...

Maybe this abridged league will make things a bit better....
don't want to sound pessimistic that's how every league season starts in in nigeria away victories in the first few weeks before the desperation of home sides kicks in

You are right... But there would be fewer games for clubs this season and some teams won't travel long distances for matches..

But make we day look sha....

We have been here before. Prasing the few away wins at the start of the season.

Away win where 20 minutes was given as injury time. Let us wait and see how the league progresses.

I hope Alampasu can start playing regularly. We need to replace one of Ezenwa and Akpeyi.

Taiwo Awoniyi was promoted to the U23 team right after the U20 WC in 2015 right? I remember his first game which was away to Zambia in an all African games qualifier return leg in Lusaka where he scored 2 goals. That was his introduction to the U23 team which was after the U20 WC. So where does Manu come-in in the debate of Awoniyi vs Ajayi.

Oga stop mentioning Manu Garba he was not part of the picture. Stop this your diversionary tactics abeg. It was Siasia's U23 team. And then Awoniyi had not even started professional Football talkless of losing form. At that point in time that we had that debate Awoniyi was just newly being introduced into U23 team.

All in a bid to pull down Junior Ajayi u called the NPFL a Wack and went further to say Ajayi was always missing chances at 3SC.
You wanted Junior on that U20 team that is where Manu comes in.

Btw Awoniyi played for the U23 in April of 2015 that was before the world cup.

He can be our number one IMO. I like him more than Uzoho having watched both train live.

Now this boy is 17. In 2 years time he would have played up to 3 seasons. And as usual the same condemnations of age cheating that follow all NPFL players invited to the U20 team will follow him.

I have always said it that age cheating is not as rampant as we term it to be here.

It is not about about being invited from the NPFL. There is massive age cheating in this current under 20 and we can go over some of the major players.

Players who claim to be 18 but if you pull up pictures from 5 years ago, they do not look anything like 13 year olds.

This boy looks young though.

Me ke? You are the undisputable King of the NPFL o. No one can ever drag that position with you.
I even gave you kudos for Defending the indefendable. I said I cannot do what you are doing. Infact the LMC/NPFL need to give you an award.

My point is it is not everything in the league that is defendable. Criticise them when necessary and hail them when they do well. My criticism of Lobi this morning started this all. And as expected I knew u will come for my head. grin

So Just relax man. No be our papa get those clubs. grin
Yet you bring up the Odey nonsense again even when it led to a big blow up the last time said it? Why is it so important for you to discredit me and question my character? You are about to say o boy Na just talk but you know that it is not

This is the same problem with Nigerian journalism, you are content with giving the audience the bare minimum. You come here and tell us Lobi lost because Nigerian teams are poor away the end. But we both know that is a poor analysis. You didn't talk about anything that happened on the pitch and I just feel that is a bit lazy on your part.

Watch the match and lets really talk football.
