Hello NLNders,
My sister's friend was complaining that her husband just bought her a car but he registered the car in his name,and she feels he doesnt trust her enough.To the men in the house,do you think she is right or she is just worried over nothing?

If she buys her own car, whose name will she register it with?
Hers or her husband's?

If she doesn't have any ulterior motive, why does the registration bother her?
If she isn't planning to someday abandon his name & abscond with his assets, why does having her adopted surname on her car papers bother her?

If she buys herself a car will she die?


All these broke feminists & their entitlement mentality sef.
Their own money dey sacred but na for another person money now, eheeeen rules & regulations go set in.

Then the husband should retrieve the car, dash it out and give her NEPA bill in her name.

A car is a depreciating asset.

The car is not for her but her husband since its in his name. She's only borrow driving.

Is she planning on selling the car? What has her name being on the document have anything to do with her been the one that controls the car? Some people are petty and can not be trusted.

I don't understand this recent madness of family property and the name it bears. Is it that 1+1 is no more 1 in marriage or what? Growing up, I have always known my parents name to be Mr & Mrs (.....my father's name) which automatically covers the family.
This days women want more than normal when they are continually doing things that will make a man lose trust on them. I wonder if we still have marriage built on Christian principles

Women have learnt to protect their interest as men can no longer be trusted too. Marriages are mainly based on cultural and traditional principles as all this theories of christian principles and marriage are just lip service.
