A 19-year-old girl identified as Eseosa Odemwingie, reportedly committed suicide on Monday over an undisclosed incident. 

Twitter user @ms_chic who is also the sister of the 19-year-old girl who committed suicide, disclosed that she was laid to rest today. She wrote; 

PLEASE HELP MY FAMILY AND I PRAY FOR THE SOUL OF MY JUNIOR SISTER, WE LOST HER TO DEATH ON MONDAY. PRAY TELL GOD TO FORGIVE HER SINS AND GRANT HER ENTERAL REST IN HIS KINGDOM .... MUCH APPRECIATION TO FRIENDS THAT HAVE BEEN PILLARS OF SUPPORT. I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER

Have some empathy. Some are weaker than most. Some break down uncontrollably, so much that they find it hard to talk to anyone about it, especially in a country such as this where visiting a shrink comes with stigma. Suicide is the hardest decision a person can make. It is not cowardice. This life too short and sweet. I cannot come and go and kill myself.

If i knew this girl, God willing she wouldn't have taken her life. Please we should all show love and inspire laughter with everyone around us.

A Federal law needs to be passed mandating families of suicide victims to still go on with normal burial celebrations.

Such a selfish girl. Very self centered girl. She should have just thought of the pains her loved ones will go through mostly that of her parents. My sincere condolences to her parents.
