The city mall is expected to serve all of the 15,000 homes being built in the city. Apparently, the church called for designs from the covenant university department of Architecture and this is likely a favorite for the eventual construction. The lead architect is a post graduate student of CU

This actually how this society should develop, not waiting for brainless rulers or wasting your hard earned money abroad.

It's beautiful. The correlation behind fish and believers though. Would make so much sense if we didn't live in a paranoid society. Five years down the line someone would come and be forming analyst claiming Oyedepo built mall in worship of mammy water. So pls o the architect was thinking about fishers of men not mammy water.

Was at the city sometime ago many members had began to move in and they already installed the gas plant and were completing the water tanks.

Yea like the following Esther and Mary hall designed in the shape of the star of David which is meant to express CU's affiliation with Hebron. Hebron was where David learnt leadership by first becoming a king in Judah after which he became king of isreal. Hence CU is called Hebron, the birth place of kings and queens. Reason why the school is very strict . but our Nigerian conspiracy theorist said oyedepo is making reverence to Egyptian gods. grin

Nigerian leaders should go for deliverance and impartation service in Winners. This man is efficient. Let me see one loser here talking about some people not being able to afford the city first. I will cast that person.

Are you involved in the Canaan city construction? I can imagine another city of labourers and contractors already forming around that at Atán / Idiroko axis.
God bless a man of true vision in Oyedepo. If this man can rally a section of the population ( less than 10%) for all these then I wonder what he would do with just a little more being given to him.

As oyedepo would say let them keep complaining while I keep making new moves. For me Oyedepo is a good blend of visionary, entrepreneur and minister. If he had the kind of money Nigeria had I'm certain we would fair well as a nation. If he had the opportunity of being a business man he would dust the likes of dangote. Why? He has a large appetite for risky things and likes to dare very difficult things.
Even at an advanced age he still has dreams and vision and is very unsatisfied.

Not yet, very soon though we will..
I tell people that Atan - Ota is a very blessed place. In the next 10 years that place might be unrecognizable. Apart from Canaancity, thousands of acres of land are being developed in different parts by different developers. This would very well change the demography of the place to a more affluent one. I hope Ogun state can quickly recognize this by supporting companies, industries and churches in that axis with good roads. The taxes, land use charge that would emanate from those axis would be humongous.

I'm from Abeokuta but Ogun should leave ABK for now and focus infrastructure on border areas of Lagos.

I anticipated the bold also because there are many property developers who can't build a road to remote location for the sake of developing it who would like to just attach to Oyedepo's own city. I expect that area to develop towards Agbara industrial estate. it is like a correction to Lagos. Even Tinubu will be jittery when he realizes what around a billion USD or N400Bn is doing right next to the jungle ATM machine that Lagos has become.
Very soon it will be govt running to churches to come and act as FDI in their territory instead of the blind backlash we see daily.

The industries, churches and schools around that area will soon be supported by the church itself. just watch!
Is it power plant we want to wait for govt to come and build or road, when the same Ogun state govt couldn't build few KM of roads critical to Agbara industrial estate?

Wait O! Want to get the point straight.

In the case of Oyedepo's dismiss, is Convenant University the property of the church or Oyedepo's family?

What extremists hate about the church, to see its downfall that is why they keep vigil to destroy the church and it's members.

The church must be wealthy and strong to deter the enemies.

Tithe or no tithe give with thy heart.

THE GOSPEL MUST MATCH ON.

In every rich family, there is one child that is always volunteering to be the chief accountant just in case the man of the family goes unannounced. Keep computing death of pastors. May you not die before them.

Covenant is owned by World Mission Agency a subset organization of David Oyedepo Min Incorp. I believe Oyedepo would have thought about these things before he goes to be with the lord. But God forbid if a leadership tussle brews in winners then it might not affect covenant as WMA and winners are all owned by DOMI. So whoever controls DOMI essentially owns the universities, jets and all. Whoever leads winners should be answerable to board and leadership of DOMI.

The leadership of DOMI I suspect is well guarded, this makes hostile takeover of the church an almost impossible task.
