Hypocrisy? See Reno Omokri Support CBN Governor's "Suspension" In 2014. by koboko69: 4:35pm On Jan 26, 2019
Following the suspension of the CJN by president Buhari, I cant but notice that many members of the opposition party who supported and applauded the suspension of the then CBN governor seems to have a different opinion about the suspension of he CJN by president Buhari despite similar guidelines and rules in the constitution about how either of the affected parties could be removed from office. One of the noticeable member of the opposition who happened to be the spokes person of the then president Goodluck Jonathan, who saw nothing wrong with the suspension of the then CBN governor is now one of the mos vocal critics of the action my the president. It is interesting to know that Reno was also linked to a fake document he circulated indicting the then CBN governor of sponsoring terrorism which the then president never addressed.

See below: Rather than address the suspension. Reno chose to attack the the CBN governor-

Reno Omokri: The recent suspension of the erstwhile Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria has ignited a debate on Social Media and as has become typical with many pundits, the discourse has been dominated by sentiments rather than facts.

As Sanusi has indicated that he will be challenging his suspension in court, I will not make this piece about him and recent events surrounding him. Yes, I will cite some examples of double standards as regards the approach taken by some analysts, but in my view, the matter is now best left to the courts.

What I will say however to those who are propagating the propaganda that the President suspended Malam Sanusi Lamido Sanusi to stop him from speaking is this: it was Sanusi’s job that was suspended, not his mouth and anyone who knows him knows full well that he will not let anything come between him and a microphone.

All in the bid to support the removal of sanusi, see what he did.

the then president never address this but kept silent despite being caught in the act/

talk of hypocrisy, see fake pastor:

President Jonathan’s Social Media Aide Reno Omokri Exposed As Author Of Fake Document Linking Ousted CBN Governor To Boko Haram

Reno Omokri, the outspoken Special Assistant on Social Media to President Goodluck Jonathan, was today unmasked as the brain behind a fraudulent attempt to link Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, the suspended Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), to the recent spike in Boko Haram violence in Borno and Yobe States. In one of the recent attacks, Boko Haram terrorists slaughtered some 60 secondary school students at their boarding house.

Why are people reacting to what Mr President did. They have forgotten that what goes around will always comes around and that the PDP in their days have down this seed. From Obasanjo to Goodluck Jonathan. They should just Seek court redress. At least they have now seen that Mr President is not Jubrin from Sudan.

“William Roper: “So, now you give the Devil the benefit of law!”

Sir Thomas More: “Yes! What would you do? Cut a great road through the law to get after the Devil?”

William Roper: “Yes, I'd cut down every law in England to do that!”

Sir Thomas More: “Oh? And when the last law was down, and the Devil turned 'round on you, where would you hide, Roper, the laws all being flat? This country is planted thick with laws, from coast to coast, Man's laws, not God's! And if you cut them down, and you're just the man to do it, do you really think you could stand upright in the winds that would blow then? Yes, I'd give the Devil benefit of law, for my own safety's sake!”

A man for all seasons....

Pause and think about my quote above. We did not vote APC to be PDP part deux.

I see so many pro APC comparing suspension of d cjn and that of cbn governor.
I will ask a question and I want honest answers.
Who does d cbn governor report to? And who does d cjn report to?
Let us thinks critically and stop playing politics with everything.
Time will definitely tell and I pray when it does we will not be victims of miscarriage of justice.

President na still oga patapata....

As long as we operate under the present constitution, the executive will keep exploiting all this loop holes to trample on other arms of government
Same way corrupt people exploit some loop holes to get away with some crimes

Both were wrong there is no doubt about. GEJ should not have removed SLS the way he did, and PMB should not have suspended the CJN

However to put the governor of CBN on the same pedestal as the CJN is plain silly. CJN heads an independent arm of govt; he is the fifth most powerful Nigerian after speaker, fo cryin out loud!!!!! CBN is more or less an appendage of the finance ministry.

Can PMB suspend the speaker of the house or the Senate president? Can the Senate president suspend d executive?? So why do we justify this brazen act of tyranny?

CBN is not even up to this one, judiciary is another arm of government and is the custodian of our democracy. Senate and judiciary make up the democracy. Presidency is obtainable in a military regime but the other two are the main back bone of democracy and buhari has trampled on both

so if the CBN don't release money or regulate our monies how will the judiciary and legislature see money to spend selfishly on themselves, oga Reno means mockery..and now he is crying foul play and all other people castigating the president are enemy of progress, that don't want our country to move forward...

if this was south africa, buhari would have been recalled by his party since this suspension issue arose, thereby losing his presidency. Constitution is supreme. Buhari just blatantly ignored the constitution of nigeria. The only solution now is for buhari to be impeached.
Please stop comparing the office of the cbn to that of cjn. THE CJN is way ahead of the cbn.

how dumb are you zombies self? The monies/budget for the senate and judiciary is provided for in the constitution. Not even the president can stop it. That's why they are independent from each other.

no one said or is saying that some people are above the law. The protest is not about the suspension of the CJN but the fact that buhari bypassed the constitution of nigeria which is supreme and which the president must abide by.
Nothing stops buhari from lobbying the njc to submit a removal letter to the president. Then with a 2/3rd of the senate, the cjn will be removed. Why didn't he do that?
