A Nigerian rapper Harteez has claimed that he was harassed and detained by Special Anti Robbery Squad, SARS in Lagos.

According to him, he was approached by some men in mufti and requested to drop his ATM card and phone, before taking him to their Police Station in Onipanu where he was detained over night.

Where is this country heading this police harassment hasn’t stoped.

On my way to ojota from palmgroove bus stop 3 police men hooked me at my trouser asking me my phone and atm. They claimed to be federal sars they took me to their police post at onipanu I slept over the night I was just released this afternoon.

[size=18pt]i dont seem to believe this story because there is No SARS office in onipan..we only have ONIPAN police station and its not a SARS station..Also there is Pedro Police station around palmgroove.. Also there is Gbagada police station(CharlyBoy Bus stop) were the Anti cultism is stationed..Those are the 3 police stations close to PalmGroove and Onipan and among the 3 Police stations it is only the Police Officers around Gbagada that harass people anyhow though pedro and Onipan also do Harass people but not as much as those officer around Gbagada (charly boy bus stop)....No sars station Around Shomolu Bariga..May be they just RIPPED YOU OFF in the Name of being SARS officers[/size]
