An articulated truck laden with containers fell off a portion of the Ijora bridge unto another layer of the bridge.

In the process, it dislodged the containers it was carrying . No life was lost from the accident.

The indefatigable team from the LASEMA Response Unit (LRU)  was on ground to salvage the situation.

They made a recovery of the affected truck together with the containers.

Thank God no live was lost..All these long truck containers should be removed from highways,the gridlock of traffic is unbearable now it is fallen of it...ambode and federal government has totally forgotten them for now but doing campaign all over..

Why is an old truck like dis carrying such heavy contents beyond its capacity? These trucks won’t rest until they destroy that ijora/apapa bridge and the Govt is watching and doing nothing proactive about it.
