t was gathered that the suspect, a middle-aged man, was caught by the mob who raised the alarm that attracted the attention of others to scene where he (the suspect) was lynched before he was rescued by the university’s security agents, who later handed him over to the police.How can you rescue someone that has been lynched? |

If the Chief is still alive to be arraigned in Court, the he was not lynched. Lynch means kill (someone) by a group of people for an alleged offence without a legal trial. |
