Why do vehicles get stranded during rain.
While heading home from work today, I noticed a lot of vehicles parked and I have always wondered why.
seriously I also wonder this, few days ago it was raining heavily, I counted like 10 vehicles that got spoilt on a 20km drive

A lot of people don't know how to drive in lightly flooded roads. Once ur exhaust pipe is submerged in water and u get ur foot off the accelerator pedal totally... The engine will very much likely end up getting stalled. I consider this one to be a minor issue. The one that baffles me is the case of people who speed thru flooded roads and end up getting water into their air intake system - a phenomenon which often leads to catastrophic engine failure because unlike gasoline, water can't be compressed by an ICM (internal combustion engine). U will see a lot of vehicles with wrecked engines during the rainy season because of outright carelessness.

They've been serving me well so far so good, I buy from the second pump though, like total mobolaji bank, the first of their last two pumps is compromised so after selecting filling station I still select pump

The can't cheat you if you buy in jerry can because you will hear the sound as the attendant is selling, so get a 20L gallon and but ur fuel in any filling station even if it's not accurate, you can make a complaint since you are buying 20L and the gallon is 20L and not filled to the brim

From my experience, your 20L fuel cannot fill up your 20L gallon to the brim in Nigeria. Even if your gallon has not expanded which I doubt, it still won't fill up

2011 right? And how much do you make with 2k fuel for instance, and hope it doesn't burn oil like most big daddies. Thanks.
Thinking of upgrading sometimes next year

There's one in akowonjo, their fuel burns up quicker. God knows what they mix with it, so checking gauge if fuel is complete alone is not enough, one should also take note if the gauge drops faster than normal

Thats one of the best places to buy fuel, in my opinion

I think their corporate office is just beside the station. They wouldn't think of being fraudulent, in my opinion

Asking for directions in this Lagos can be really frustrating... Asked a guy direction to a street and he's like "when you get to that junction just left your right" I'm like you say? He boldly repeated the same thing... I nodded and flashed him a wry smile... Thanked him and zoomed tf outta his sight.

Away from filling station issue, please who know where I can buy thermostat for corolla 2010. My car disappointed me seriously with overheating last weekend, my gasket even got burnt. I was glad to see the inner side of the engine without sludge. I couldn't get d thermostat in most part shops I visited, I need a place to get the thermostat this week.

You are the real MVP the guy tried to own but instead you owned his stupid ass!!! Big ups bruh
Niiade:

What he would have done is sell to someone maybe he or she brought 1000 or 700 then he won't start afresh he will continue from there and sell to you or option two they have tried that very well with me.

When they ask you how much and they input the figure, they start selling ensure you ain't looking and press a particular button that shows how much you wanted to buy and you would assume he has finished selling the fuel to you.

The last attendent to try it, I didn't even check I waited for him, there is a button that looks like X some it's like a circle with X, I wanted to buy 6K fuel, he sold up to 4575 and pressed the button to show 6k. I told him to press the button to show last sales and I must see it, when he pressed it I saw 4575, told him to call his manager he kept claiming nothing was wrong, then he knew I understood and he started begging and it was a pos transaction and I had receipt of what I paid for since he refused to call his manager told him to fill up my tank or I will wait for the manager. He filled up my tank and it was extra 5k fuel. Never went back to that station again.

If you are analytical, please kindly explain and comment the ratings below, explain why would a rider rate me 1star 9times.
A rider rated me 1star because I requested that I receive alert of the money he transfered to me before he leaves.
Another rider rated me 1star because I did not engage her in a conversation while on a trip.
Another rider rated me 1star because I 4got to tell her sorry for coming to halt suddenly

I don't believe the gasket is blown cos I parked immediately the gauge line passed middle. The radiator is not even pouring water out but I don't want to argue with d mechanic cos the car still overheats after removing the thermostat.

That is the total of riders that rated you for each star.
Hope you don't give reasons for giving a low rating?
I noticed mine nosedived when I was giving reasons for the rating, I had to stop clicking reason but just dash the 1 star like that.
Seems the riders got the feedback I gave before they rated me.
