Breaking New: Governor Ambode's supporters stage protest at Lagos Assembly over planned impeachment


Some residents of Lagos state are currently in front of the state House of Assembly, staging a protest against the planned impeachment of the state Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode.

Recall that on Monday January 28th, the state Assembly members accused Governor Ambode of gross misconduct, not signing into law the 2019 budget among other infractions and have threatened to impeach him.

These group of protesters are demanding that the planned impeachment be shelved by the lawmakers.

Ambode has been beaten thoroughly and humiliated, he makes it worse by publicly campaigning for Sanwo-olu by raising his hand at APC rallies.
He was very vindictive and almost created a divided between Igbos and Yorubas in Lagos. Today both Sanwo-Olu and Agbaje are good friends of Igbos and other tribes living in Lagos.
We are not pitying him, let him go to Oba of Lagoon to save

They should let this man be. He literally has like days to leave office. Why can't they just let him finish his tenure in peace. This is so saddening. If he is impeached, I am sure PDP would get some revolt votes from some APC members.

Ambode too dey fall hands sha. If you must rent protesters, at least let them be very presentable. This is Lagos . Haba why hiring protesters in bathroom slippers? It is very likely that those guys holding the banner in the first picture are not even aware of the content of the banner.

As for the impeachment threats, cowards they say die a thousand time. But those pulling the strings should know that there is something called Elastic limit.
