I watched it. Fulani's can move about but not with cows.
Their cows will be in one place and they will now have normadic education. The cows will be fed animal feeds in a place.
Don't forget Atiku has an animal feed production industry- Rigo cardo. The feed became popular in the east last year and gives chikun feeds a run for their money.

Atiku is supporting grazing reserves. But in this age, what is practiced world over is cattle ranching
That's a lie. He proposed something different entirely.

He boasted that he owns more cattle than the President. So, you expect him not to protect his Investment? Benue People and Ortom Over to you

you didn't say it the way he said it. Ah una sabi lie!!! Jesus. I watched this yesterday and now you have come to twist what he he said. He said they would review it because when they say fulani should not move about are they trying to infringe on their human right of free movement. so he needs clarification on what they are trying to say. he even went to say he would try as much as he can to stop them from moving about with cattles which he called anti-nomadic

If Buhari had said what Atiku said, you wouldn’t be giving a measured response like this. You and your likes would have descended on him calling him all kind of unprintable names that comes to your mind.

Just like some of us have been saying, the herdsmen crisis was a political tool by PDP to discreet the president. Atiku owns more cattle than anybody in Nigeria and will protect herdsmen far more than a liberal and carefree Buhari. Even the anti-grazing laws that wailers supported won’t be spared if Atiku ever becomes the president. The real beast in the herdsmen will be unleashed under an Atiku presidency.

Ofcourse, when grazing lots and ranches are established, there will be no need to restrict someone else's movement. The only reason those states enacted those laws under duress was because the herders killed so many of their farmers during Buhari tenure and Buhari did nothing. "Desperate times require desperate measures". But with a proactive Atiku who believes in prevention, those desperate laws will no longer be necessary. He, Atiku will start by disarming the herdsmen and educating them on need for ranching. A full prevention circle, will make the problems go away. Hope you all got it now? You are welcome!
Before you start defending ur looting party, have u forgotten that Gej, at the height of constant bickering between Herders and farmers, constituted a panel to look into this recurring menace? And that the panel recommended cattle ranching throughout the federation and earmarked N100B to actualize this project? What then happened after Gej released the money in 2014? Like all other projects, PDP come up with as avenue to siphone funds, they looted the N100B and allow farmers/herders fighting to fester. Your party is extremely evil and blood sucking, no matter ur defence, the blood of farmers/herders clashes from 2014 onward will be on Gej and his PDP cronies. Karma will surely visit.

And where will the reserves be located? Plateau? Benue? Taraba? Enugu? Ekiti?

We southerners unanimously told Buhari there is no land for grazing reserves in the south. What has changed now?
Re: Herders Crisis: Grazing Laws In Benue, Taraba, Ekiti To Be Reviewed — Atiku by RTSC: 11:21am On Jan 31, 2019
Buhari wants to create grazing routes cutting through people's ancestral lands. He loved grazing routes to the extent he had to reduce the speed of our locomotives to protect cows.

while atiku as an educated business man wants to create reserves where herdsmen can contribute more to the economy and stop communal clashes.

We can see why miyetti Allah supported buhari. Anti progress people.

It's left for the rest of us to say NO and vote atiku.

The state will benefit more if the laws are reviewed. That state could generate revenue in form of cattle tax should it be reviewed however there should be strict measures to allow this work effectively. Atiku is a bit fair on this as part of campaign to bring unity in Nigeria. Constant deliberation is needed before full implementation. What the ruling party wants to use is to capitalize on his assertions and then twist like you are doing. PMB would have done similar thing too if he gets to power

When did atiku say he wants your lands for grazing reserves?
You think atiku with an igbo VP is going to corner southern lands for herdsmen?

He said he wants herdsmen to adopt reserves.

That is significantly different from what you just said.

Buhari is going to create grazing routes whether we like it or not.

What fuckery is that? Why will a herdsman want to wonder around without his cows? See my friend, try and read what you typed all over again and ask if it makes sense before posting.

If a herdsman owns a cattle ranch, there is no need to move around again. In fact, he’s no more a nomadic farmer.

The truth is PMB is still the best for Nigeria at this present time despite all his short falls.I have been following Atiku Abubakar since he became the Presidential candidate of PDP,and i must confess that he has not impressed me one bit.His restructuring agenda is nebulous, economic agenda is not practicable in the present Nigeria economic condition of low oil revenue. The eloquent economic rhetorics of Peter obi, lacks substance when critically and unbiasedly analysed.
The interview wanted him to be specific how what he would do. He was busy asking the woman if she has read his manifesto. He couldn't give details on how he would do what he wants to do.

On the area of private sector driven economy, Atiku has been advocating it. But the woman referred and reminded him that in most countries of the world, they problem they have now is capitalism (private sector driven economy), which makes life difficult for citizens, example is America. He had nothing to say on that

theoldpretender:
Hmmm

Eventually, we are going to do two things in this country...and by extension the whole of Africa because there are countries with two or three tribes that like ehrding cattle (Infact part of South Sudan's problems are due to cattle related problems)

1.Massive grazing ranches...to be run as cooperatives, set up in the far North...with the aim of supplying an agro allied industry and dairy industry. Each and every of these ranches would be linked to the railway network for easy transport of export related products.

2.Additonally, we have to fix the railways.

The era of roaming around with cow is at an end.Our populaiton is now 200million. Back in 1963 we were 55 million, and our railways were already trasporting cow realted products to the South. Too bad mismanagement in the 1970's led to the problems we have today.
Then again transforming portions of the arid north to massive ranches would involve a lot of money in irrigation which judging by the size of our budget won't work out .

So how is this solution manifestly different from the position being pushed by the current governmenthuh

I guess it only sounds ok when it is coming from anyone else but Buhari.

Let's wait for the reactions from the governor's of those states.

Fulani conquered Hausa through this process, now they want grazing reserves to conquer the whole federation.
They hv made Nigeria a Muslim country internationally.
They want to consumate their agenda domestically by demanding grazing route nation wide. That's what Buhari has sworn , to deliver Nigeria to Islamat all cost.
He has conquered south west , north central and the whole north.
South South and South East remain are still hard nuts to crack.
SAY NO TO GRAZING ROUTE BECAUSE THATS THE ONLY AGENDA THAT CAN DELIVER THE WHOLE NIGERIA TO ISLAM.
